The only reason I gave a 9 rather than a 10 was that the room and kitchen area are not as big as some other places we stayed on our trip, however there is a balcony which helps makes up for it.

Safe location, easy to find and safe parking. Great hosts, really enjoyed our talk with Raul and we appreciated the advise he gave us for our trip and which routes to take for our journey around South Africa. Modern clean room with lovely bathroom and a well maintained house. Enjoyed our visit to see the penguins and the Botanical gardens.

Description mentions a well-equipped kitchen but we chose not too cook as there was only one stove top hob to use and may have been challenging.

My cousin and I stayed for two nights and we were warmly welcomed and showed around by Raoul. Their house is set between the stunning rough mountains and the ocean. Our room was lovely, perfectly equipped and very spacious. One morning we booked breakfast, which was very delicious included various treats from sweet to savory. We felt perfectly taken care of by Raoul, his wife and his son. They helped us with things to do in the area and made sure we had an excellent experience. Set between Kleinmond and Betty's Bay, we could easily reach places like the botanical garden and the penguin colony within just a few minutes by car. We really enjoyed our stay - thanks for having us!

I foolishly only stayed one night and wished to stay longer. There is much to do and see in the area. I won't make this mistake next time!

This is just an incredible place! Lovely room, spacious, comfortable, sparkling clean and all the little extras that are so appreciated when travelling, such as toiletries, hot drinks, biscuits. The owners have had an interesting life full of travel and experience and are so welcoming and interesting to talk to. If you like motorcycles, maybe Raoul will give you a glimpse into the secret man-cave!

Raoul and Era were wonderful hosts! We were invited for some drinks when we arrived and they gave a lot of information on things to do around the area. The room was big and even had a living room area with a big couch and tv. The bedroom was nice and there was even an adapter for charging devices. Breakfast had flexible timing and very freshly made. We stayed 2 days and had a great time here. Would definitely recommend to stay here if you are visiting the area or driving the Garden Route.
