The cleanliness and friendliness of all the staff, its close proximity to the excellent Pilanesberg National Park, the air-con, fridge, and garden. The breakfast (which we weren't expecting) was excellent. It was nice and quiet with good, safe parking. There are fridges in every room. It is very close to Pilanesberg. We left early to visit the reserve and Vicky provided us with fruit for breakfast. We really enjoyed our 2-day stay. Thank you so much.

It was a very hot weekend and the aircon did not work. We were given a fan and that helped. The staff went above and beyond to meet out needs and were extremely friendly and helpful. The room and bathroom needs a bit of maintenance and some small things needs fixing but this did not impact on our comfort. I loved the bathtub. Service was excellent.

All. The accommodation is cozy comfortable beds and very good service. We had a problem with the car company and Mrs. Constance solved it for us. He was very kind to us. Thank you for everything Constance.

Vicky and co are very caring, they even insisted on preparing us a takeaway breakfast at 6am! They provided us with extra lights for the low shedding, and let us plates to eat when we arrived too late for dinner! The room is open on a nice little garden. The location is ideal, very close to one of pilanesberg's gates!

At first sight I was a bit concern of the location (since tourist have to be careful where they park or go) because it is a small street. But the house is secure with a big gate. Vicky and constance welcome us warmly and gave us a lots of advice on where to eat. The breakfast was delicious and exactly like on the picture we have seen. The room are very clean and the sheet smell so good. It was warm in all the room (during winter), we appreciated so much. It is obviously close to Pilanesburg park. Don't miss this cosy place

Booked my acting team in at Vickys. After a long day on the road they arrived at Vicky's where they were told that there was no booking for them and that the guest house was fully booked. Although they had the fully paid Booking.com receipt in hand. We were informed that Vicky is one of two guest houses using the same booking platform. In the end my team was accommodated Pilansberg Guest House which, we can only presume is the other guest house using the same booking platform. The make matters worse we got a message after arrival to say that the booking needs to be paid - it was fully paid a month ago already Although they did not see the rooms at Vicky, the guest house looked run down and the reception toilet door could not even close properly. The second guest house was much better. And the team got a fab breakfast which made up for all the inconveniece. One can now only wonder how Vicky's is getting such good reviews or are the reviews reflecting here actually that of Pilansberg Guest House?  Doing this post as I do not wish anyone else to end up in the same situation.

Not sure whether a 2 or 3 is a more fair rating. The only positive thing ended up being the proximity to Pilansberg, but honestly should have just added the extra 90 minute drive (especially considering that we couldn’t find any food within a 40 minute radius) to get back closer to Gauteng.

We arrived, and the place was not as advertised on booking.com. The location was terrible. We were told we could not stay there on arrival as the toilet was not working and they made alternate arrangements for accomadiotion, which was also terrible and in a terrible location.
