Very friendly owner, Mercia. Comfortable stay. Pity it was only the 1 night, but as a traveler at such a great rate the facility is well maintained, clean. I would recommend it to every backpacker travelling and experiencing Mossel Bay at a cost effective way.

I was disappointed. We wanted to extend our stay and contacted the establishment directly. They wanted to charge as R3,000 for 4 days and the costs on Booking.com was only R1,632.96. We ended up extending our stay on Bookings.com. We felt that the establishment was taking advance of us. As it was almost double the amount when booking directly with them.

Maybe coffee and tea with a kettle in the room and a towel. But facilities in the kitchen is great. Tv in the room would be nice. I can not complain. Thanks

There was a bunch of workers staying there, and they made a lot of noise and clogged up the bathroom for hours in the morning and evening. I'm not sure if that's a permanent thing, but it's definitely worth planning around.

Colourful, lively house with quirky nooks and crannies. I liked my room, which I had to myself. There is parking in the yard behind a house, which is useful if you are road tripping on the Garden Route. It is within walking distance to some amazing shops, cafés, and the beach. The hosts are super nice and helpful.

The reception area was no where to be found.. I had to knock on a upstairs room door????had to ask around and it was loadshedding no generator..made things Very difficult..could really invest in a loadshedding helper..and a front door with lights

Mercua was a great host and most understanding and agreed to compromise the fact that we might be late from an outing and will avail herself to to open the door as she is staying on the premises. We stayed in a single room hence had our privacy. Shower and toilet are communal but comfortable to use and easy accessible from our room. A nice balcony to relax on was a great bonus. Mercia the host also provide us with extra chairs to accommodate our visitors when joined us for a chilled evening. Bedding were clean and beds comfortable. Thank you so much Mercia for your kind soul which is most welcoming.

Great place to stay. I felt very welcome by the owner Johann. Late checkin was no problem, he helped me with my luggage and we had a good talk. The room and the whole place was very clean. They have a clean kitchen with everything you need, a tv room and a lot of balconies where you can enjoy the view on the ocean. Johann was very Kind and he even made me some breakfast and organized me a lift to the busstation. Overall all a very pleasant and uncomplicated stay. Would definitely recommend 👍
