Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

The garden is immaculate and peaceful, the room has all the conveniences that you need. The extra personal touches make the experience of staying at Villa Puccini even more memorable. The breakfast setting in the garden is lovely and the breakfast offering is fresh and tasty.

Everything about this place is wonderfull, it is a gorgeous Villa which is beautifully decorated. The rooms are very nice and comfortable, the bed is amazing! Liz and Carlo are wonderful hosts, the make you feel at home. The breakfast is amazing and the garden is a delight, especially in the evening when thousand little lights shine around the swimming pool.

I don.t say Villa Puccini, because they give you a warm welcome, they are always available when you need some advice like restaurants, interesting places to go and above all Liz and Carlo are extremely kind and gentle. Always in for a talk, if necessary with a grappa. The house and the rooms are beautiful, very quiet at night, and the description on their website and booking is correct. This is one of the first places in our lifelong travelling that felt so beautiful and Liz and Carlo felt like friends we knew for years. So warm, so kind, so beautiful. This is the reason why we like travel, meeting people like Liz and Carlo. On the practical side : breakfast with very fresh ingredients from the garden, very good fruitsalad, evrything you can expect from a continental breakfast. Taste the homemade cookies ! Secure parking on the grounds, quiet neighbourhood, easy access to restaurants. Book it !

South AfricaOnly negative is that there is no power in the bedrooms during load shedding - although wifi is still available at those times.
Rooms are very nicely laid out - clean - and the shower is big and has good water pressure. There is a great supply of coffee and tea -and I don't think one would ever run out - or have to ask for more. We thoroughly enjoyed our breakfasts - with the highlight being the fresh fruit salad on both mornings and on Breakfast 1 the fresh squeezed orange juice. The weather was spectacular on both days we were in CTN - and the setting for breakfast on the patio by the pool is beautiful - with birds and squirrels hopping around in the garden. The Puccini's and the cleaning staff are extremely helpful and are always eager to help - although we didn't need much. A nice plus was that the WiFi and Internet access worked during load shedding.
