Shower head needs fixing, which made water to run to my room. Breakfast was nice, I didn't like the fact that it was brought to my room not covered but still I love that they are flaxible.

The rooms didn't have things we needed, we constantly had to ask for something (iron,spoons etc)I also hoped there was back up for loadshedding.

I liked their pool area, it was beautiful and refreshing.

Struggled with plugging in phones, there was an extension cord behind the bed that I had to use. Needed to bring a bedside lamp into the lounge area for some lighting.

The view was exactly what we saw from the picture, breakfast was mncwaaaa!! Pool clean and we enjoyed. Security, friendly staff, everything maaaan was great. Villa Schreiner is one of the best place in Johannesburg, if I must refer people it will be the 1st place for me to mention. The place is clean, comfortable, friendly director. Wooooooow their employees are more caring, friendly and compassionate. I won't be quiet, the lady called Portia, she treat people with love, unobuntu kwaye nothando. I wish the employer to make her smile during her pay days. Director : May the great graceful and compassionate God bless you more and more. God will restore all you lost, multiply all you need and bless you amazingly, Amen.

Due to circumstances beyond their control, the only problem was the power cuts, which affected the rooms, in the sense that, hot water & warming facilities were limited to communal sharing, which posed a bit of inconvenience. However, the hosts were very accommodating & very helpful.

As someone who loves coffee, the fact that there is no kettle inside the room was a huge let down for me. Walking up and down to go and make coffee is not ideal. A small heater in winter would also make the stay more pleasant.

Location is perfect, the hosts are also very accommodating and helpful. Room was very clean and comfortable. The garden is exceptional for summer.

In all my experience over the years of staying at many different guest houses, lodges, hotels, and back packers, this was the best experience I have ever had. This is by far the best guest house which more than exceeded my expectations. The staff not only make the extra effort or go the extra mile for their guests, they go above and beyond for their guests to ensure that they have the best experience. I will definitely be extending my stay here and this will most likely be the only guest house I will continue booking with whilst in Johannesburg. Overall perfection. In all my experience, this truly is the best guest house I have ever stayed at. Thank you!

Noise from TV and others guests come through the walls and this happened all night on second night Breakfast was a delicious omelette option but no cold breakfast, so no fruits or cereals - this is not great for the price paid… Breakfast took long to arrive One smaller old towel per guest only which is a little strange Parking space was cramped for our bigger vehicle when it was full and accessed via a single very narrow gate
