Not enough hooks to hang things, no soft touches in the room, the experience wasn’t warm and welcoming, very tiny towels and no bath sheets, just small towels. Tv offers no news channels and wasn’t working when we arrived and bathroom sink didn’t drain, not enough towels, no hooks etc n the bathroom to hang anything. Also view of the mountain includes 100 solar panels

My only negative would be there was a free wine tasting with the booking and we weren’t informed that it wasn’t going to take place on the Friday as they were closed and we had purposefully set that aside to do then so we missed it

The paveways to the hotel were gravel, which made it quite challenging if you bring heavy luggage.

there was about R30 to R40 between the complimentary wine tasting and the one you paid for...honestly? both wine tastings should be complimentary to residents ....seemed slightly petty to charge for the more expensive one....

Restaurant was beautiful but the food was mediocre. Steak came cold the first night and the poached eggs during breakfast were cooked all the way through. Again, the staff was super accommodating but we had expected more from this beautiful estate.

The location is just stunning and the entire estate was so peaceful! The staff was also very accommodating and kind. Rooms are spacious and comfortable.

When we arrived, there was still a big group of people (wedding). So we couldn’t use the pool area on the first day.

The food was super tasty! The location was perfect for wine tasting and for relaxing at the pool.

Fantastic estate. Perfectly located - many wine farms are just a short drive away, and the the tram stops right outside. Our Vineyard room - Viognier - was larger than expected, with terrace doors opening onto the vineyard. Staff, facilities and F&B really great. Will definitely stay again.

Beautiful location, the photos don’t do this place justice. We stayed in one of the cottages, which were very spacious and very well done up. Staff were lovely, food was brilliant and such good value (compared to Europe). Lovely pool / and a very nice haven of a place. Will 100% be back
