The way that the lodge integrates its guests from different parts of the world. It was a wonderful experience to engage with people from other parts of the world. We also enjoyed the honeymoon suite with plenty of space and a small dipping pool for the warm weather. Game drives were also exceptional and the Guide, Solly and Tracker, Steven did a wonderful job by tracking all the animals. I also applaud the Chef and Staff including Palesa for the wonderful and healthy meals that they prepared and the top-notch service.

My boyfriend and I had an absolutely perfect time at Vuyani Safari Lodge in march . From the first minute to the last of our stay, everything was perfectly organized. We felt very well taken care of. All the lodge staff members are so lovely. The lodge is beautiful and clean. The room was very spacious and was tidied up daily. The food was prepared with love, and you could tell that the chef put a lot of thought into it. It was always incredibly delicious. And the safaris? What can I say... I will never forget these drives. We saw all the animals, experienced unbelievably beautiful sunsets, and had experiences that we will never forget. Ianni and Aggi led the drives with us, and I couldn't have imagined it any better. Both are super warm-hearted people who bring a lot of knowledge and were incredibly dedicated, ensuring we had an unforgettable time. We will definitely come back.

Would be great to have a gym - not many safari lodges do. This would be a great addition as very inactive holiday as not possible to simply walk around due to presence of wild animals. Dining is communal (again as with most safari lodges), would be good to have the option of private dining too.

Vuyani was absolutely incredible, we’ve travelled a lot and this was by far one of our favourite trips. The staff went over and above and couldn’t do enough for us. They really provided the finishing touches when we didn’t expect it. The rooms are fabulous, the food is outstanding and the game drives 10/10. Please don’t hesitate to book to stay here it really was amazing. Thanks to everyone at Vuyani for making our trip so special. Particular shout out to Jannie and Aggy. We will be back!!!!

The all inclusive part of it was the best. And those stops in the middle of Game drives for snacks is the highlight. With the game drives you are guaranteed to see at least 8 animals. I saw all the big fives and some extras

The game drives were incredible. Our guide and tracker made sure we saw all the animals we wanted to see, were so knowledgeable whilst also being safe. The lodge was beautiful, animals come right up to the pool and the food was delicious.

Had a wonderful stay at vuyani for our honeymoon - we were very very well looked after by all of the staff, but especially by our guides for the drives - Jannie, Aggi, John, Peace, did an amazing job and all so knowledgeable and friendly. Would highly recommend vuyani to anyone and everyone - great setting, lovely rooms, nice pool and fantastic hosts - thank you all!

A menu for wine, and food could be better.. there was no ambience for the dining room. We loved the pool and see the Little Drakensberg, saw Drie Rondavels. we liked the game drives and there were lots of tourists, England, gGermany, Crotaia etc

Staff are really great, smiles and lots of chats, especially, janni for the game drives, he has lots of knowledge about animals and birds.

The pool area would benefit from more sun lounges. Given it was 30 degrees most days and only 4 sun lounges for 20+ guests you can see why it’s a problem. For our first 3 days some guests went down and put their towels on them early in the morning so we had no where to lounge. We also had an incident where someone opened our locked safe and took some of our cash. We found it unlocked when we returned to the room. This also happened to 2 other couples. We haven’t had any correspondence regarding this incident from the Lodge since we left which I think is very unprofessional. I know one of the other couples did have the manager reach out. It’s a real shame since I would have given a 10/10 until this happened.

The game drives were by far the highlight of our trip! We saw the big 5 within 24 hours of arriving and it was a once in a lifetime experience getting so close to animals! Our driver, John, and tracker, Peace, were absolutely amazing and went above and beyond to find animals for us to see. They were also friendly and entertaining. The rooms were also very comfortable and clean, and the food was tasty and there was lots of it. We loved the way we got to meet and hang out with other guests during the week too. We have formed long lasting friendships with two other couples.

This was our first safari and completely exceeded our expectations! We had a fantastic time at Vuyani. The staff always went the extra mile. Particularly, the game drives were fantastic! Thank you, Gerry and Steven! Service was excellent thanks to Russell and KG and the rest of the front-of-the-house team. Duncan is a fantastic chef! And always happy to accommodate any dietary requirements. The area is not fenced so you can see some animals really close by while chilling at the pool or private plunge pool.

Everything! It was amazing! The food was absolutely delicious, the place is beautiful and the people are lovely. Even though the Kruger park was partially closed over the weather, Vuyani have a reserve of their own so we still had all of our game drive and see a lot! We will come back for sure!
