Freindly and helpfull staff. Was told about recommended restaurants with a list to assist in choosing where to eat. The rooms are fully kitted with everything you may need. Clean and comfy. Felt right at home.

There were spiders and bugs in the rooms, without an insect repellent.

The host was very understanding and patient with me and my family. I requested an early check-in and they happily obliged.

A beautiful property located on the river. The accommodation is set close to the main road so some traffic noise. We were greeted by one of the children. She was pleasant and friendly , however no information provided regarding the property or surrounding area except that the kitchen is closed on Sunday therefore no breakfast would be served., despite the advertisement saying that Breakfast is available at an extra cost. Small TV Comfortable Bed Limited Supply of towels. Electric Blanket was great and room was cozy warm once heaters were on.

everything, because the surrounding is fantastic to relax, but you can still go to the Drakensberge, arrive restaurants fast and after coming back you can enjoy swimming in der pool, reading a good book while sitting at one of the many places around the garden. The nature invites to take a camera and try to catch different animals/ birds. The hosts are so friendly, inform you, give some advice and the accommodations are really beautiful.

I had an unpleasant experience with the husband, whom cornered me repeatedly about payment during the stay, making me feel extremely uncomfortable. He then texted me unpleasantly. I also had an awkward experience with his wife, whom told me she hadn't really looked properly at me as she assumed "I was just the tour guide". She then also contacted me whilst I was out to request I return the key for cutting, as it was the only key left. I suggested this was best done after we left the next norning. In the end I recommended they deal with their issues upfront with clients, or at checkout. They did not know the region, as they have only been in business for 6 months, so could offer little in the way of insight or recommendations. Furthermore, my room shared with my daughter was made up of old, over-sized furniture squeezed into a type of building. We sat next to a large gas cannister attached to an antique gas stove-top. A used couch was covered with a cloth, and cracked tiles were bizarrely laid over a cheap blue carpet covering a cement floor. It was the same price as the rooms occupied by our friends, which were much nicer. I would not recommend this place.

Nice area. River on property was appealing. The breakfast was nice, with home-made scones baked by their teenage daughter. Our friends had nice rooms and were better treated.

We did not have water during my whole stay there, and the owner did not even make provision to provide us with water to flush the toilet with. We slept the whole night without water and then only received a 20 liter of water the next morning

Kitchen better equipped. Better plugpoints. No place for ladies to do their hair. No facilities outside of room. No restaurant or takeaways nearby Bathroom in very bad condition. No place for luggage. Need maintenance badly!!

The check-in times

We had a wedding to attend in 0 degree weather. To get back to Waterford where the heater and electric blankets were already on, was amazing. The beds are super comfy and the room was a decent size. The breakfast which was incl in the cost, was simple but so delicious and very filling! Staff were super friendly and helpful!
