The +/- 100m of gravel road to the property is eroded and a bit of a hazard to turn off to. House requires a little maintenance in terms of the kitchen, and some other areas.

Oven did not work, and there was a massive ant infestation throughout the whole house. It was obviously recently fumigated as there were piles of dead ants in the bedrooms, etc.

The place is easy enough to find. Google knows the entrance from the main road. The road up to the lodge is doable in a 4x4, but otherwise a challenge! Rina, the house keeper, took great care of us. The place is really lovely. Only one star subtraction for all the minor little details that just keep it from being great. Some stains here, a not-so-well-patched hole in the roof, the damaged pool table, etc etc. Overall great value for money but there’s room for improvement 😉

The aircons did not work. Mosquito challenges. Our wifi password was delayed. On arrival, the cleaning was still in progress from previous guests.

It was serene, spacious and beautiful. My 19 month old son had an absolute blast. Picturesque.

We had issues with ants in the kitchen and while it says there is a house keeping service, we didn't have the house cleaned while we were there. Also, note there is no washing machine that can be used by guests - if you want to wash clothes you must pay 175r per load to have it done by the house keeping which we thought was rather expensive, especially when the details list a washing machine on the property and not paid laundry.

Unbelievable value for money, it's a huge house and really well organised self catering accommodation. Absolutely stunning views out to the mountains with a beautiful garden overlooked by a great veranda.

The pool was clean, however because of the paint in the pool made it look like the water was not clean

I loved the house , actually I liked everything in that holiday home .we enjoyed ourselves too much .even the entertainment was good also.the house accommodated everyone and got enough space to enjoy yourself .

Nothing to report. Water pressure a bit low, but not an issue.

Breakfast not offered. View is fascinating! Space and tranquility. Pool a welcome bonus. Solar power backup. Fantastic bathroom and Shower in en-suite main bedroom. I could just sit on the deck all day long.

Road or driveway up to the property needs improvement. A 2 wheel drive could get up the driveway, but if it was rainy and wet I doubt a 2 wheel drive would have gotten up the driveway as it’s red clay. Some of the ceiling areas show black mold and there were lots of little black ants in the kitchen and evidence of a mouse that tried, but wasn’t successful, to get into some of our food.

Great location, large and fancy on suite bathrooms for every room. It was out of town with a wonderful view over the town.

There was nothing not to love

The view of our house was above exceptional, and we were treated with so much hospitality. Even though we had loads of rain the house met ever expectaion from clean to safe and felt like a piece of heaven.

House was super spacious and only downside is that we did not have more time to spend there. Beautiful view and amazing beds and bathrooms Will definitely go there again
