The location was great easy and convenient to get around. The host and staff were great. The rooms were neat and clean I really enjoyed my stay and would recommend it.

I loved the fact that Yolanda is such a welcoming host. She goes above and beyond for her guests. At the same time she gives her guests all the privacy the could need and want. The neighbourhood is beautiful, great place for a lively meal just a short walk away. I travel with a very quiet, well trained german shepherd. It is not easy to find a place like Yolanda's that is comfortable with a large breed dog. Thank you for allowing my dog and I to stay at your wonderful guesthouse. I would like to add that I met other guests during my stay who were all returning or had stayed there before and shared the same sentiments. I would absolutely recommend Welgemoed Villa to any traveller. Especially those looking for comfort, privacy, a good location in an exceptionally safe well monitored area.

Have stayed here a few times. Nice facilities , clean bathrooms, kitchenette and rooms. Nice view. Quiet and peaceful. Enjoyed watching the RWC game in the tub ! Peace and quiet after a long day.

My room was not connected to any wifi. My colleague did not have the same problem. Perhaps if you book, enquire first if your room will have access to the wifi. There is no table to do work on. If you have to work it would be a at the breakfast nook (place is self-catering) with limited space. Otherwise on your lap. If you sit on the comfort chair, you need a lead if your computer runs out of battery. In defence of the guest house, I did not ask for a lead/brought the lack of wifi to their attention.

It is in a quiet area. It is easy to access the main roads. It has a great view! The guest house owners leave you alone and do not interfere. It is spacious.

The shower does spill water quite a lot, so the whole bathroom floor ends up being wet. But that’s about it.

I was booked here for work and Yolanda upgraded me to a bigger room to make it an enjoyable week for me at Welgemoed Villa. The room was amazing, very spacious and has all that I needed. Boeta (the Siamese cat) welcomed me on my 1st day and he kept me company when I felt alone. You have a gem of a cat, Yolanda. The Villa itself is quite close to all the amenities and is in a good part of town. I felt very safe.

I booked and paid 2 weeks is advance and when my colleague arrived at the gate at around 16h00, they said that they do not have space for her. When she looked on her phone she saw that she received a whatsapp and an sms at 15h00 on that same day to inform her that there is no space for her, a mistake happened.

The location would have been good, if they honored the booking and did not make my colleague turn around in front of the gate.

we were under the impression there was a service but none for the three days we were there. the balconies and rooms were dusty so gave the impression that the apartment was not cleaned before our arrival. The bathroom had the tiniest and very uncomfortable basin. It was difficult to even brush one's teeth. The kitchen and utensils were very sticky. Pity for these small details because the place is stunning.

location was ideal, beautiful views and awesome sunrise. the room was spacious and bed comfortable. we had the apartment which was very nice and comfortable. The bedding was clean. we needed more towels as there were only 2. fortunately, someone living on the premises brought us others.
