The property is a little dark, especially the living room area making it difficult to read.

The property has all the amenities you need, including airconditioning, cable Tv which we didn’t use. It was suitable for our family age range 11 - 90years and catered for my dad’s limited mobility. Standout features being the porch at the front of the property, the plunge pool and braai (bbq) area. The ability to see wild animals (zebra, kudu, bush buck, warthog , banded mongoose, bush baby) up close was super exciting.

You have to pay for air-conditioning. The pool is lovely, but a little small for 8 adults at the same time

Nothing. I can only suggest they prepare adequately for load shedding,more lighting and at least an investor for tv. I didn't mind the prepaid tv channels but the aircon prepaid totally the first to me but I understand.

It was just what we needed as a family,with lots of animals coming for a visit every now and then eating from the palm of my hands. Will definitely go back. Bravo That bed was so comfy I almost took it with me😀

The stay exceeded our expectations, very clean, child friendly, the staff was excellent and the owner Elaine was wonderful, the wild game visited us a few times. The facilities was amazing as they had everything you need in a self catering house. Each room has its own toilet and showering facilities which just made the stay way more comfortable.

Place definitely needs some upgrading in terms of faucets leaking. Shower water temperature was not consistent.

Awesome location. Can see Zebras, warthogs, mongoose etc. Yvonne was very friendly. Spacious and the kids loved to play in the garden. Convenient, can buy wood, charcoal and ice without going to a store

The hot water system is a bit temperamental. Once it kicks in you don't want to mess with the flow too much in case it drops out again. My daughter didn't get the hang of it until after a couple of days and so she had a couple of invigorating cold showers at first but the rest of us managed to figure it out from the beginning.

Elaine was incredibly helpful and went out of her way to make our stay a very memorable one. She provided a wheel-chair for my frail mum-in-law, braai utensils when we realised we'd forgotten ours and super-prompt response when the hot water system gas cylinder needed swapping. The animal interactions made us all feel like we were somehow part of a magical alternative reality. Our kids (in particular our youngest at 10 y/o) delighted in feeding bush buck, wildebeest, zebra and kudu by hand. The warthogs and impala were a little shyer, hanging around in the background mostly. The bushbabies were out every evening just a few meters from us enjoying the bananas and yoghurt that Elaine recommended we put out for them. The kitchens in both houses are both extremely well stocked with crockery, cutlery and glasses. The laundry service was very reasonably priced.

Beautiful setting. Private and spacious. Lovely host. Convenient option to buy coal and BBQ needs from the host if we missed buying at the supermarket. Nice to see bush babies for the first time.
