Friendly hosts in a beautiful small town. The rooms were very clean and the hosts were very generous with the bath linen ( provided full sets for each of us including the kids). Amazing fresh and home made breakfast.

Nothing, it was a great stay!

The property is an old-style mansion converted into a B&B; very nice and stylish building with a beautiful garden outside. Gustav, the host, was a character, shared lots of stories and good suggestions. Our room was the one in the end of the hallway, probably one of the largest ones; very spacious, with a bathtub, comfortable bed, clean and good shower, and a sitting area. We slept very well there. There are nice areas for hanging around in the place (the covered garden with the hanging plants is lovely), but we didn't have time to enjoy them that much. Breakfast was fantastic, both the food and presentation. Surely would stay here again.

The reception was so warm and welcoming. The rooms very neat and tidy. The breakfast was the highlight of the day ad so much preparation went into it, the food was devine.

Nothing, our stay at the lodge was perfect!

The lodge is located in a very quiet area. It is a romantic venue with a beautiful garden. Our room had a bath which was very relax after a long drive and misty afternoon. Graskop is a safe village with nice restaurants. You can walk and do some souvenir shopping. Dot made a reservation for us at the Glashouse, which was a pleasant experience. The breakfast offered at the lodge is excellent. Juice, fresh fruit and a choice of warm dishes. All beautifully served. The day of departure we had a flat tire and Dot helped us kindly to sort out things.

What a little gem of a guesthouse. Extremely welcoming and helpful owner/staff and spotlessly clean. Beautiful, peaceful garden to sit in and lots of extra little touches to make our visit enjoyable. Owner booked a very good restaurant in town for us for our evening meal and breakfast was excellent. Thoroughly recommended.

I managed to hit my head while trying to get to my shoes on the luggage shelf as there is not a huge amount of space between it and the extra bed. Should have been more careful but load shedding meant no light, so couldn't see super well.

Wonderful and accomodating host, you can see he really cares about the guests and the area. Room was very well equiped and clean. Bed was comfortable and even has a heater if you're cold!

Scary journey to Kruger in the early morning mist

Jacobus and Dot went out of their way to ensure we had a splendid stay during our 3-night sojourn in Graskop. Fabulous breakfasts and bumper packed lunches for our game drive. Advice and banter were always on the menu and our first stay of our South African road trip really set the mood.

They couldn’t prepare our dinner because they did not have a cooker , but they did organise glass house restaurant for us to eat there.

The place is very quiet and peaceful .We really enjoyed staying there and they have a good relationship with customers. The breakfast was delicious

I loved the house and how it has been wonderfully laid out. The garden is beautiful with unique plants and birds. The hosts Gustav and Willem were a joy and very entertaining. Best breakfast in town. They considered the glutenfree requirements carefully as well.
