Bathroom door downstairs as well as cupboard in the kitchen needed some attention.

We loved the spacious unit, and the multiple bathrooms as well. The view was spectacular.

No toilet paper in our rooms on arrival. Broken outside bench. TV not working. No road signs to the place. No directions guide given.

Stove wasn't working so we couldn't prepare the meals we wanted. No double bed - all double-single beds - was uncomfortable for me and my wife.

View is exceptional as compared to anywhere else. Very spacious as many as we were. Friendliness of staff amazing. Will definitely travel there again with another group of friends.

Had a storm so lights and wifi were out, for the whole complex and surrounding areas for the entire night, but can imagine on a normal day this would be an otherwise perfect accommodation. Cleanliness needs a more closer eye touch, but all in all well kept and managed. The gravel road is lengthy with no signage(0) to guide you.

The showers could use a good scrubbing. And we were given the keys to the unit next to what I actually booked, I really wasn’t happy about that!

Needs a bit of TLC TV not working Kettle trips mains power Braai has no grid unable to use this Dirty bucket left in outside sink stank. Back door does not lock and latch easily needs you to fiddle with it to lock.

Unfortunately there were a few important items that were missing. There was no toilet paper when we arrived, however, it was brought to us very quickly once we had mentioned it to the host. There were no bin bags in the kitchen bin - not a problem for us, but it might be helpful to the cleaning staff that we don't throw our rubbish directly in the bin. The cupboards had everything we needed, but could do with a bit of a wipe down and tidy up - for instance, under the sink there is an old mug of sugar and some open coffee. I'm not sure if the host is aware of all these things, as I assume the cottage is run remotely but I thought I should let you know so that you can inform the cleaning staff. The WiFi was not working either. The light in my room was not working, so I was in the dark during the evening. Perhaps the cleaning staff should just do some brief checks beforehand to make sure that everything is stocked. It would be great if there were some small touches like side lamps next to the beds. Regardless, we had a lovely stay and would definitely come back - it is a gem of the property and we will definitely come again for upcoming work trips.

Location is absolutely perfect! The views are impeccable. The rooms were very clean and tidy with nicely made beds and clean sheets. I liked that there were outside seating areas. Perfect for morning coffee!

The water issue from the taps, yes there is clean tank water to drink but dark brown water. Also we cleaned for ourselves nobody came to clean for us. Plus the list you can do is have an Iron please for next time because we definitely coming back.

Cleanliness is a serious problem! The place was not ready when we arrived, all dusty with empty plastic bottles of previous guests. Kitchen floor is all greasy. Linnen had been used before us, The few cooking pots are old and used. Cockroaches in the pots. Wardrobes are filled with old used items. We regret because, many guests commented on the urgent need for TLC, maintenance and repairs and it appears that since 2020 little was done. Very good internet connection, compensates for the DSTV not working since early 2021. Water is a serious problem, we were one day without tapwater, rainwater is full of larvae. Electricity is erratic, luckily we brought our camping gear. Toilet paper could be a minimum. The place has a washing machine, but the cleaner was washing her own clothes. Cockroaches, flies and straydogs, Dirty.

We agree with the comments from all the guests on this site. A stunning view from a spacious place. Very nice summer cottage by the sea. The excellent internet connection allows streaming and compensates for the disconnected DSTV.

On booking you are not told to bring your own toilet paper, bath towels and your own dstv decoder you. Email was only sent after I paid. Now you have to go and ask at reception for toilet paper which you get told that host is suppose to assist whole host s not there. Pots are really old therefore when you self cater they burn your food. Cleaning can improve also as in wordrope you find old dity bending which is not suppose to be there when the are guests.

The place is big and it's nice that you have access to restaurant and the pool. View is very nice up there water is warm even though it's not clean coming out of the tap guess it's the area though.
