They should invest in diffusers, the place is moist so that would help with the smell in the house.

I like how secluded the place is, very chilled and full of greenery. I loved the environment.

It was smaller than expected. The bathroom is too small

The house is beautiful, well located not far from all attraction place, The outside view is exactly as shown on the pictures. it was smaller than expected but it was comfortable and cosy. Easy to find as its on the road, kitchen was fully equipped, clean towels were provided.There's a braai stand outside that is moveable, there's a TV, a heater, bar fridge. I love that its the only cottage there, you have privacy and the yard all to yourself.

Can do with more drying cloths for dishes? On the other hand a lady comes in to wash- very convenient!!

Very good location. Peaceful. VERY clean. Lovely quick hike to a small stream and the old mine. Overall beautiful.

We didn't like the stairs atleast if the sofa bed we're down because climbing the stairs was painful especially when you are drunk its risky

Loved staying in this beautiful cottage with wonderful outdoor space. Felt private and safe. Check in was easy with a warm welcome from the host. Would definitely stay again.

Cleaning services were not provided daily. At least if a broom or mop was provided. Couldn't watch the ruby world cup because it's an open view channel. Wifi connectivity is unstable.

The environment is beautiful. It has beautiful trees, plants and flowers. More peaceful and calming. Self-catering accommodation that is fully furnished with day to day needs.

1. We encountered minor issues with the shower, but the owner began fixing it as we were departing. It's likely that everything has been resolved and is now in good working order. 2. The property is somewhat close to the road, so you might hear passing cars at times. However, this proximity makes it easy to find the place.

1. The house boasts an authentic style with very high ceilings and a new kitchen, providing us with everything we needed. 2. In the evening, we savored a barbecue, and the owner of the place assisted us with the braai. 3. The surroundings around the house are well-kept. 4. The house owner cares about the well-being of their guests. 5. When you sit outside, you can enjoy a fantastic view of the mountains.

Location was excellent. Beautiful and quiet. Very central to the sights. Accommodation was simple but perfect for our quick stay. The garden was very neat and lovely too. Peaceful would be the best word to describe it.

I recommend to bring warm socks or slippers and sweaters during wintertime, because it gets really cold after sunset.

It's a beautiful little cottage in an even more beautiful garden with little monkeys playing around. The host is very friendly and supportive. The cleaning lady came by every day. The location was perfect for us.

The garden is private, neat, quiet and clean. The hosts are generous, thoughtful and kind provided all sort of drinks even with biscuits. The location is excellent for all attraction near by. We have plenty time to visit God' Window, Bourke's luck potholes, Echo's cave, Pilgrim's Rest. We also like the morning walk up to the Old Mine. The room is comfortable , clean had a good taste in deco. We are definitely will revisit and stay longer next time.

Load shedding at super inconveniant hours...not much you can do about that

Loved having my own little place in the beautiful wild bush! Also very nice neighbors - Zur Alten Mine- with the superb option of heaving breakfast there

Only complaint was loadshedding, which is completely out of the control of the owner.
