We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

South AfricaThere was some maintainence that needed to be done, and some of the matresses are breaking.
Loved the location and the fact that we could watch the animals come up to the lodge. The lodge was extremely tidy and well equipped. The Crocodile Bridge is 15-20mins away and Malalane is just over half an hour away. The chairs on the veranda were well used every evening, and the lodge had a large TV with dstv and netflix. There was more than enough sleeping space.

South AfricaThe pool is almost a jacuzzi size. About 6 of the furniture is falling appart. The walkway feels as if it is going to fall. The outside furniture is dirty and broken.

South AfricaEven light movement from upstairs is very loud due to wooden floors. I am not sure what can be done about that and the fact that the 6 sleeper upstairs has no access to a bathroom. But everything else made up for it including the animals that paid a visit in the morning.
The house was clean, staff was friendly, it had everything we needed for a comfortable stay enroute to Mozambique so very close to the border.

South AfricaUpon arrival, (scheduled arrival in advance to be between 16h00 and 17h00) the premises was locked an nobody was there to do hand-over of keys. when we phoned the number provided, the person was in Australia and was extremely rude. she eventually hung up on us and caused us to wait outside for almost 20 minutes. we had to wait with outside with 4 children and no bathroom. the premises is also not child safe as advertised. the photos show coffee pods and none was provided. soap containers were not filled either.
The location was adjacent to the Kruger National Park.

South AfricaPhotos and physical places have differences. Outside area needs a lot of attention, table and chairs needs replacement as it is so damaged. Braai is loose standing but rusted. No dustbin outside. Photos shows roof coverage over entertainment area outside, but its slap bang in the sun. No soap to wash dishes, no coffee ect. No games as advertised. Beds needs replacement they are old and laid through.
