The cleanliness of the place and the fact that it was close to the shops...the staff was very friendly and accommodating..the animals were spotted close to the house which made our stay even more interesting and fun...the beds were very comfortable ..made us to have very peaceful sleep..the pool is very warm even at night.. Everything was exceptional 👌 👏 🙌 I would probably come back.

The only thing I can mention (if I really have to nitpick), was the fact that the fantastic outdoor showers weren't very private, and was somewhat exposed to the other two units on the same property, and made it a bit awkward at times seeing the neighbors while showering.

We liked absolutely everything! This property is highly recommended. We enjoyed our stay so much that we decided to extend our stay by another day just to stay a bit longer. The property had absolutely everything that we needed and more. Beautifully appointed and clean. It felt like we were in the middle of the bushveld in a luxury lodge, and had frequent animal visitors that walked past the house. I would definitely recommend this property should you look for a place to stay in Hoedspruit. We cant wait to go back there again.

Hoedspruit Wildlife Estate is next to main streets, an airport and trainrails, so don’t expect to be in the remote wilderness with no traffic noise. There is a huge kitchen with washing machine and dryer, but we really missed the dishwasher. Next to the main lodge are two small lodges occupied by other guests. It did not disturb us at all (their terrass faces another direction), but takes away the sense of privacy. The three bedrooms are all seperate from the main building and are not connected with each other, which is great for couples but might be an issue for those with small children.

This spacious lodge has a beautiful garden facing the Green Belt of the Hoedspruit Wildlife Estate. As there is no fence around the garden (there is around the Estate), animals pass by regularly. Very good communication with the friendly maintenance team. Very nice braai area. Oudoor showers. Nice design. Next to a quiet street of the Estate. Excellent value for money.

This accommodation is a real gem. Situated within a park with wild animals, very comfortable and well-equipped rooms, pool and fireplace outside. Very close to the center of Hoedspruit where you can find nice restaurants and variety of shops. It's a pity that we booked the place only for two days ... I would like to add that the contact with the caretaker Sander was really great and the administration of the Wildheart Safari helped me to solve my problem - by accident I paid twice for the accommodation.

There is absolutely nothing we didn’t like about the property.

The bedrooms are everything!!! And the animals occasionally chilling with us by the braai area was just another highlight 🥹🥹🥹. The place is WELL maintained and I’d love to visit it for more than just a weekend, with a group of friends. It’s easy to access it and close to the Kruger gate for game drive.

Not a negative, but a kettle for the stove during loadshedding could be useful

We have travelled around South Africa many times and this is one of the nicest properties we have ever stayed at. Comfortable, clean and super well equipped. Peaceful and relaxing, really nice place....can't fault! And spacious? 3 couples wouldn't get in each others way and there was only the two of us.. The whole Hoedspruit Wildlife Estate feels safe and secure, there's walking and cycling trails, and the occasional bit of wildlife knocking about (not as much as they would have you believe). Hoedspruit is a decent place too, handy for days out in the Kruger, or up in to the mountains. The Hat and Creek Restaurant is amazing and Sleepers Bar is also a good offering. I must mention Sander, the caretaker, just like the property he's one of the best. Responsive, helpful and a really nice guy. His team are also very efficient and friendly. Yes, we like this one!
