Could not move on our own on the farm, understandable because of the Buffalo on the farm

Barend Lombard made us feel welcome from the first day we arrived. They were in constant contact with us to make sure when we arrive safely. The house has excellent facilities, everything you will need like new. Wifi at house, Jacuzzi and nice braai area.

We struggle with entrance and exit with locked gates - I don’t mind the security, but had to phone( with no wi-fi at the gate) for someone to come to open

Its a self catering, since we were using a small car, we were advised to used the Mokgopong route which is drive-able, the unpaved road not really bad. The Host was always communicating with us until we reach our destination.

The only thing we didnt like were the long sand roads getting to the farm

Its a beautiful spot in the game farm. The hosts were amazing, and we had a lovely stay. We loved watching the animals from the the patio.

The length of the gravel road, but I will not make it an issue. The constant loadshedding that messes up the network connectivity. Apart from the loadshedding, I honestly have no problems with the area or experience.

The space, freedom, tranquility and the area. It is definitely the biggest and quietest place I have ever been to for a holiday. The game drive, my first one ever and seeing a golden wildebeest.

Beautiful place. Friendly and helpful staff. The place was very clean, neat, and equipped with the necessary amenities. Loved the fact that there was even n potjie and a cast iron pot for making "potbrood". It has excellent braai and outdoor facilities. The gamedrives were great and very informative. We enjoyed it.

Backup Lights for loadshedding not up to standard or not working.

Nice quiet place and just what we wanted. We will definitely revisit later on.

The emergency ligting lamps need to be better. A Magneto brand rechargeable lamp would have made all the difference during loadshedding in each room.

Location is off the beaten track but very easily accessible from the tar road which we wanted & the feeling of being completely at one with nature. Hippos resident in the river & wonderful birdlife & wildlife.

Sitting room area is lacking in deco and comfort. It doesn’t work with the rest of the house. Please fill up the ‘pool’.

The place is spacious, clean, modern and accommodates for a nice family getaway. Loved the jacuzzi. Like the safes in each room.

What an amazing get away spot. Facilities and hosts were remarkably good! Our host even got in contact about the best roads for us to travel. Our unit was secluded and completely private. Unit fully equiped with everything you could need. Hippos in the river at night right next to our unit. Our weekend at Wilgeboomsdrift exceeded our expectations. Highly recommended!!!

The unit(house) was perfect, clean and everything you need for your stay was provided. Perfect bush getaway with the animals grazing close to the unit. The hosts was friendly and helpful and went the extra mile to make our stay more pleasant.
