Our room was facing the street, so it was a bit noisy.

We loved the warm welcome that Emmy gave us! We stayed in 6 different hotels in the Western Cape and the Willets was the only hotel that really made us feel special during our honeymoon – besides the bottle of sparkling wine, the chocolate strawberries, and the rose leaves that were placed with love in our room, Emmy also welcomed us with the words “there are my honeymooners”, which we found so sweet. She also gave us valuable information for our stay and provided that personal touch. There is parking right across the street, which was very convenient. We also loved the location as it was very close to many of the attractions, such as Bolder’s beach, Kalk Bay, etc. We preferred the location over the hotels we stayed at in Cape Town.

Don't leave your windows open at night! A bit noisy. So make use of the aircon instead.

Well situated for visits to Boulders, the beach and snorkelling. Some lovely shops along the road as well. Stunning decor and the walls are covered in beautiful paintings by local artists. The marble tiled bathroom was amazing!

The staff are the biggest asset to this establishment. Tendai and Emmy were incredible. Always friendly and willing to assist. We received a free room upgrade when it was possible.

Fab place, central location easy to walk to Boulders Beach to see the penguins. All of the team were helpful and friendly, great tips for the rest of our trip. Breakfast was excellent. Rooms clean, comfortable and well appointed.

It wasn’t a huge issue, but being on the main road meant that traffic noise was noticeable from about 6:30am

Plenty of Babboons in Simon's town, so we had to close windows (that's not hotel's fail, just be aware)

My favourite stay while travelling in South Africa! Emmy and her team at Willets Hotel go above and beyond to ensure you have the perfect stay. I very much appreciated their hospitality and kindness during my time in Simon's Town. The room was lovely, bright, and very comfortable. Emmy even organized a special New Year's Day breakfast for guests, which was amazing and delicious. Overall, the hotel felt like home. Highly recommend!

Nothing negative to say!

It was absolutely fantastic! Friendly staff and a comfortable stay. We go to Simon’s Town about every fortnight for scuba diving so we will definitely be back. The aircon and delicious breakfast was a bonus!

The rooms aren't entirely soundproof, but it isn't bad at all. The baboons gave us a wake up call at 5am but I won't be blaming that on the Willet's!

Emmy and the rest of the staff were amazing and gave us lots of suggestions for activities and food/drinks. The breakfast was very tasty and there is a great outside courtyard you can have it in (weather permitting). The view we had from our room was incredible and definitely worth it, and we liked the architecture and feel of the entire hotel. Great location for walking to boulders beach and a short ish drive to the cape of good hope or muizenburg and kalk bay further north.

No dedicated car parking, but free on street parking was not a problem.

A lovely period building, right in the centre of Simons Town. We had a great room with balcony overlooking the main road. It was nice to sit out and watch the world go by. It was not noisy. The staff and Manageress, Emmie, were most helpful and full of smiles. I highly recommend this hotel.

Unfortunately we chose a small interior room. The hotel is charming but if you can choose, I suggest other rooms. This one is very small, without a window and ventilation a/c. It can be very difficult in the summer.

Everything met my expectations. I can not fault it even if I tried. The owner is friendly and helpful. The staff is friendly. My expectations in a room was exceeded. I was the happiest. It was clean at all times. The cleaners refreshes the room like I just got there everytime they clean.
