I would like for them to put a little more emphasis on making sure their cleaners do a proper job. The cleaners are not paying attention to the little things that guests notice

The hosts were very welcoming and friendly, always willing to assist and to put the cherry on top they upgraded us just make our stay a little more comfortable. What a wonderful experience ❤️

I would have loved a chair in my room for comfortable sitting. We were looking forward to the river cruise as advertised, but t the boat was in for service . Whilst this is understandable, we could have been made aware of this at the time of booking. The stuffed giraffe is grim - fortunately the rooms and view faced another way.

The river view is exquisite from our rooms on the first floor. We loved walking and sitting next to the river. Beds are comfortable - excellent quality mattresses and bedding. we had one dinner at Willow Banks, very tasty chicken pies.

The road to the lodge was a little rough and not very clearly marked. A good grading and some signs should do the trick !

The rooms lacked essential items. Like plugs for phone charges. The spa was dirty and looked abandoned.

The lights in my room were flickering the whole night and I couldn't switch them off. The aircon was not working as well in my room.

We got more than we expected, so there was nothing to dislike. The Spa needs a little love, but Leandri is great.

The view is awesome. Judy upgraded us from the tents (which look great) to the main room due to the rain. Bonus for Valentines for my hubby and I - thank you Judy. Henry was amazing. Very helpful, friendly - a real gem! The sunsets were great and it was peaceful. Pool is sparkling blue. Henry ensured we always had charged emergency lights. Leandri at the spa was great. She is friendly and offers great value for money. A massage listening to the sounds of birds and the river - amazing!

Cleanliness was poor. Cigarette buds were found on the balcony. A lot of flies in the room. Aircon is underpowered for the size room. Wifi didn't work. Outside chairs, tables and braai were covered in spider webs and dirty. Bathroom needed work (shower drain partially clogged, loose fittings). Breakfast was charged extra.

Breakfast was really good. Setting and location was nice. View was pretty. Pool was nice. Staff very friendly and willing to help.

WiFi and mobile signals were very weak throughout my 3-night stay due to a network issue. The staff were not around from time to time, especially on Christmas Day. The room was not cleaned. The breakfast was basic and was not good value for money. The bar was closed. Prior notification of unavailable services and facilities would have been helpful.

The lodge was on the riverside. It was tranquil outside or on the edge of town.

Great place for vacation ,my family and I enjoyed it . Staff and owners was very friendly and welcoming. My kids loved the atmosphere especially the boat ride.
