Our room's door needed some maintenance. Generally, it felt a bit like the facilities are starting to get a bit run-down.

The location gives great access to the mountain. The beds are warm, clean and comfortable.The staff are friendly and the restaurant makes delicious meals at very reasonable prices.

The location is perfect if you want to hike, climb, mountain bike or trail bike. All three meals were very good and very well priced. The staff are super friendly and accommodating. The view is amazing.

If we could have a carpet and dustbin for the bathroom, the carpet we had was used for the shower door only.

The view of the mountains was breath taking, the facility is very clean. Loved the food and the staff was friendly. Big thanks to Tumi for her friendly and helpful customer service, hope you enjoyed the chocolate. The security that walked us to our place, thank you for making us feel safe and welcomed. Initially we booked for two nights but the next morning during the hike, we realized we will be back in time to drive back; so we called to cancel the one night. To our shock, we were told we will forfeit the 90% of what we paid despite the fact that it was for 10AM when we called. Because of that I won’t go back to sleep, will just book the shuttle service and rather sleep over at the mountain

The food at the restaurant sometimes took an inexplicably long time to come out and was incorrect on a couple of occasions. The reception kindly took breakfast off our bill when it did not arrive for over 45 minutes in an empty restaurant, and then was incorrect. I did have a fantastic steak there though, would recommend. The price of the packed lunch was expensive, UK prices, but generous.

The room was in an amazing location with stunning views, and it was very comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful. A real bonus to have the shuttle up to sentinel peak car park and the packed lunch. Amazing walks just from the hotel.

The bed had an electric blanket, thus it was super warm especially during the cold temperatures at night. :-)!!!

We found that reception was not really welcoming and did not give info on the trails. If you don't question them you don't get info. It's a bit disappointing considering that we go there almost exclusively to hike so they should try to help us at best.

The location is perfect to explore the Drakensberg from the sentinel car park which is only 7kms away. Nevertheless you'll need shuttle to access or a 4x4 with off-road driving experience. The lodge is nice and restaurant very good. Waiters and guides are very friendly.

Excellent mountain retreat with very comfortable rooms and stunning views. Perfect location to start hiking into the beautiful Drakensberg. The Tagula Falls are reachable within a days hike.

The rooms are comfortable but need a bit of maintenance.

It's the place for the hikers. Everything is well organized. The restaurant is good, the breakfast with a lot of choices and we can also order for picnics. Many hikes start from the Lodge and we can also book a driver to go to the Tugela falls and get the permits here. The view is beautiful obviously.

The road to the venue through the township is not all in good condition and clean from debris.

Perfect location for those looking to do the Sentinel Peak hike. You can pay for shuttle service to the start of the hike and they offer packed lunches for your hike. Nice comfortable rooms with everything you need and a restaurant on site to have dinner.
