No issues, it exceeded my expectations

Renee and her husband were very friendly and made my stay comfortable. The Nest was very comfy. I loved the outdoor shower. They accidentally took me to the wrong tent a bit luxurious with the sun and a nice view and let me stay at no extra cost. They also offer boat rides in the river. Should you like a river cruise as an extra activity at a fair price. They also gave me a lift to my pick-up point, which I really appreciated.

The two single beds were a bit small, quite uncomfortable and a bit moist. For kids it might have been better fitting.

It was a beautiful glamping set up with everything you need and more. Thank you again to the hosts!

Since being bitten by a violin spider a few years back, I have a genuine fear of the 8 legged species....but you can't escape the spiders in their natural habitat.

We loved the feeling of complete freedom, detached from society in a little haven all to ourselves.

Overall, I had a great experience in this cute tent. The owner was incredibly helpful, and the amenities were great. The room was wonderful, clean, and perfect to spend a night. I would suggest to stay more than a night to enjoy it all.

Toilet a bit far (also down steps) in wet or cold weather for oldies who need to visit it at night.

Rustic glamping, everything you need provided, Even carpets under the very comfortable warm beds which made the tent very cosy. Lovely hot outside shower. Firepit is great.

    I enjoyed everything!

The woodcutters bush camp at the old trading post was just what I needed. Time spent under the trees with the sounds of birds all around was so rejuvenating. Everything you need is there, & if you need anything else you can ask the owners. I decided to make a fire. I asked about wood. Next thing I knew, there was a crate of wood & some firefighters by the camp fire! The bed was comfy, the dogs friendly, the outdoor bathroom was quaint. Also, when I arrived there I was able to buy delicious bread made that morning by Rene. She even had a litre of non-dairy milk for me to buy, after the spar in Wilderness disappointed!

    Toilet.sorry.

Over all everything was amazing. The bathroom was outdoors which is nice for really extreme but maybe accomodate for a toilet indoors for the ladies atleast. Furthermore we had no complaints. Loved it and the owner was so helpful. Mike has been so accomodating

We booked an overnight stay at Woodcutter's Bush Camp. It is an absolute gem and the perfect start to our holiday. Waking up in the midst of the trees to bird song is exactly what our souls needed. The tents were clean and the beds transported us to slumberland with a dash. René and Mike, thank you for your hospitality and thank you for making our holiday extra special!

We went with our kids and It was extremely cold when we visited with the shower and toilet being outside, I wouldn't recommend parents with small children go there. Summer is better with small kids. Everything was good. The fire helped with the cold weather and kids was happy. Definitely a place for couple and friends.

The quietness of the place and how neat and tidy everything was. 🙌 The owners and staff is also helpful.. Also very beautiful and convenient. Area is great for bike riding or canoeing or a boat ride by arrangement with the owner. I loved the Privacy that the accommodation has to offer and would definitely return for a romantic getaway with my husband. Great for relaxing and soul searching or just reading a book and being chilled!

The tent site is very close to other accommodation, loose the feeling of a bush camp. The bathroom enclosure is very small and reed screens could be more dense to ensure privacy.

The camp site is what we expected- permanent tents with small kitchenette, braai area and outdoor toilet/shower.
