Nothing - it was perfect for our overnight stay.

It was a perfect stopover before going into the Kruger Park. Tracey was very friendly and helpful and provided good directions to get to the Guest House as well as helpful tips. There is secure parking inside the guest house premises. The room had everything we needed for our overnight stay - hot shower, coffee / tea making facilities. Would recommend if you are planning staying over in Hazyview.

The location is perfect for visit the Kruger Park. All the commodities are pretty well maintained in a rustic design ambience. The manager was amazing to suggest and book a pleasant dinner on a local restaurant nearby.

we ordered the night few hours before er arrived but the host did not knew that we supposed to come. water in the minibar costs extra.

the place was all ours due to the covid -19, nice and big room with great balcony very nice host- helps us with plates, salt and pepper for dinner. safe area.

The air conditioner doesn’t work very well, the carpet on the floor was very dirty .

Breakfast was lacking variety. Only eggs, sausage and bacon.

The food for breakfast was freshly made however they did not a lot of variety.

The room was very moldy/mildew smelling; and there was load-shedding without backup power source (so no wifi or electricity during that time).

It was conveniently located; the room had a mini-fridge; and the staff were accommodating to our late check-in and offered to prepare packed breakfasts for our early departure

The fact that there is no water when there is loadshedding was very disappointing, not even a drop and we were not informed of this very important fact. The owner lied to us and said that they had a generator when they didn't have one at all. On Friday when we arrived it was loadshedding and she claimed that the generator couldn't kick in because someone had left their aircon on, had loadshedding again on Saturday and Sunday morning and the generator was nowhere to be found. We ended up leaving on Sunday morning without even brushing our teeth and had to pay for a shower facility at a hotel nearby that had a generator and water as we had a function to attend at 10am.

The rooms needs TLC. The breakfast was very average, and I personally feel should be scrapped off as an inclusion on the rate, but should be an added option that you pay for on the side. The place is really overpriced for what you get (SA standard).

The bedroom was big enough and the check in was swift, considering I booked very late. It is located not far from Phabeni Gate (Kruger National Park).

Host was 30 minutes late, despite having agreed on an arrival time. the bathtub is leaking, which is not the nicest thing to discover after a long day. They advertise for elephant rides, which in my opinion is a disgrace.

There was a lot of mould on the walls which smelt really bad so sleeping was difficult and uncomfortable. The power kept tripping and there was no hot waters in the showers in the morning so we had to take cold showers. We’ve stayed here before and had a good time but this time we were very dissappointed.

The location is ideal and the rooms are spacious and clean. The garden is also lovely and well kept

Arriving Saturday Afternoon the owner left and there was no staff, nothing to drink available, nobody to explain the TV and the wifi not working,you can imagine how abandoned one feels

Its not what I expected the pictures is misleading look much better than what you get, I think they can do more effort to the guesthouse and the staff is not very friendly and helpfull
