A busy road right outside, difficult to get Uber drivers to stop especially with luggage. There was a person smoking weed at 2am outside my window.

The most comfortable place for a solo traveler I was still looking for accommodation just moved to Cape town and I stumbled upon zebra crossing spent 4 days there and I was just at home away from home

It is a very simple place. No private bathrooms. The hostel is between two big roads so also quite loud. I think for a night or young travellers it is fine.

The stuff and the guests were friendly. It feels like a family and people are respectful. A lot of older, very kind people around.

Check in was not easy for me. Communication can be even better. Room lighting was not sufficient.

Very pleasant backpackers in a lively and safe neighborhood, with all necessary facilities and services nearby (supermarket, restaurants, bars, etc). The staff was very friendly and welcoming, the various indoor or outdoor communal spaces very pleasant to use. The kitchen is well stocked and the gas stove a massive plus during load shedding.

Unfortunately not the vibe for me whilst i was there, as not really any travelers there at the time, just a dozen teenagers on some 2-month college trip from abroad, who took over the common areas. Might be worth enquiring beforehand if in doubt.

Decent location with view of Table Mountain/Lion's Head, and close to Kloof Street area. A very homely place, with very nice friendly staff. Small, but decent value for money, for a private room, if you need/want your own space. I'd stay here again if i came with friends, or knew there would definitely be other travelers there.

The bathrooms were clean but they feel a but old and dirty. In the evening they often cut the power in the rooms. But luckily the wifi keeps working all night.

One of the cheaper places to stay, the staff is super friendly and will do anything to help you out! They were so incredibly kind! The room is nice and clean, there is a small cafe that serves nice food for a fair price. Location wise its not to far away from the centre so you can easily walk from there. Wi-fi is stable and fast.

I don't even know where to start, but this is the best hostel I have ever been to. The staff is super nice, my room was super clean, they had enough bathrooms that I felt like I had my own, and their tour office has such a nice selection of activities at a reasonable price. Being a solo traveler, I felt safe and well treated, if not protected. Thank you for making my trip unforgettable.
