You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

South AfricaOutdated furniture ( it does require an refresh including the beds), non-functional TV( Wasn’t a problem- spoke to the owner and only seen now, past reviews mention this). Pool was not clean - pump not functional.
Location- being in nature, short distance to the park . I have been to marloth every yearly for some time and will continue. marloth haven, facilities- met our basis needs, great assistance from the owners to accommodate us.

FranceWith Eskom loadsheddings a gas stove would be handy, as there are only electric appliances in the kitchen. Furthermore there is no solar back-up, so you have to stay in the dark every evening for 2 hours. During the first days, with heavy raining, there was a leak in the living room to be fixed after my departure. The caterpillar plague that made staying outside almost impossible wasn't the owner's fault ... And it's a bit too far from Crocodile Gate ...
The location in Marloth Park is very quiet. Everything you need is there for cooking, with a complete kitchen. The bed is big and very comfy.

Some days I want to wake up at my own discretion not by a maid that is noisy outside and persistent to enter the premises. Otherwise very nice unit.

South AfricaThe fridge was not working and leaking water. The pool was empty, the locker on the door needed to be fixed. The kitchen sink seems to be blocking. Very small TV. I phoned the owner, and she lied about sending someone to fix those problems. The place needs proper cleaning, and the Lapa is even worse. Gas lighter for the stove was not working.

South AfricaAll Showers had old grime stuck on walls. Hygiene questionable. Dirty. Toilet leaked on floor. Kitchen basin tap leaked. Cockroaches in kitchen. No service. Domestic did not show up. Was assured of lights during loadshedding. There was nothing.
Location great. Animals of park came to greet us.
