“The reception staff were so friendly and helpful, especially Lisa, Ruth, the new trainee and the restaurant staff.
The made to order breakfast was absolutely delicious! The tub in the bathroom is divine, we absolutely loved soaking in there!”
“A lovely two man tent in the garden. A bed with a charging station and lamp in each tent - such a great idea.
Pool was superb for those evening swims after exploring all day.
Easy to walk to various places around Vic Falls town.
Bar had some surprise kick off parties on the weekend. Local beer and pizza superb”
“Great hostel in Vic Falls. We stayed in one of the tents, which was spacious enough for two people - just keep in mind it’s a tent so it can be pretty loud during the nights from other travellers so make sure to bring earplugs. The location is perfect as it’s walking distance to town and the Victoria Falls main entrance. Staff were friendly and very helpful!”
“Ilala Lodge is a fantastic lodge. It has everything you will need and is extremely close to the township and Victoria falls itself. The gardens, views, pool area and dining area were fantastic.”
“The hotel was nicely located - securely fenced - security attending entrance.
Kitchen staff were lovely
Exec chef was a lovely young lady
Pool bar staff were not very attentive - need to improve service”
