Aalborg has a nice and modern city center for shopping, eating out or a walk along the water front. Even cruise ships anchor here. There are several parks and recreational area's with a pleasant atmosphere: The zoo, harbour area, Sauna's with a view over the water and nearby island.
The city is well equiped with cycling track and you should definitly explore the town by bike. The center was not to busy , so enjoy walking around as well.

Very continental European.
Very continental European. The old part of the city has a medieval charm to it. The city was really clean. I think it is perfect for a weekend trip. (For LGBT travellers QBar is definitely the place!)

Nice touristic place to spend a couple of days and use as a stay location for excursions to other locations (especially in the north and west regions). A lot of night clubs, theaters for performances, good restaurants and interesting parks like the music one.

Aalborg is a great town to visit, it has a lot to offer for someone looking for a short city break.
Bars, restaurants, waterfront and multiple cultural things to see is great - and with a 15 min. taxi ride from the airport - this town is a great get-away!

My stay in Aalborg was short, so I saw only few places but the city made a very good and friendly impression. I highly recommend the waterfront area, the Kunsten Museum of Modern Art and Almen Kirkegard ( a beautiful cemetery park).
First we were accommodated in a room with bunk beds - I specially checked the booking - it was not explicitly mentioned in the process of reservation. Afterwards, we paid for upgrade and went into a regular double room with a double bed.
So I recommend to explicitly mention the type of the beds, as it they might not fit everyone.
Otherwise I admire very much the functionality of the room and the hotel - you have everything you need - not opulent, but enough. I like this sustainable approach!
This hotel is right in the center of everything in Aalborg. I stayed for 11 days. The rooms are the perfect size and are very clean. The staff is very nice and extremely helpful. The breakfast was served hot and was delicious. The lounge area and self-serve coffee and tea that was available throughout the day was a great way to take a break and regroup during a day of museums, sight seeing and shopping.
Extremely comfortable and modern hotel, in a wonderful location overlooking the waterfront. Large bedroom with good en-suite facilities, comfy bed. Very good breakfast with lots of choice, all very tastefully presented. Lots of comfortable outdoor places to sit. Easy to walk to anywhere in the city. Parking, although you pay extra, was right by the hotel and very easy to arrange via a pay machine.
For us the location was perfect- just 100m from Comwell Hvide Hus Aalborg , we’re the party took place . It was much cheaper to book an Appartement than two double rooms in a hotel.
Access was easy due to doorcodes.
Nearly everything there , fridge , dishwasher, ironingbord and iron , hairdryer , vacuumcleaner …and a big TV , enough space for parking in front of the house
A very well equipped apartment with lovely interior design and easy check in/check out formalities. When reached out, the hosts replied swiftly with solutions. The kitchen had everything that is needed for a vacation (even tea towels, dishwash soap and tea selection), same goes for the bathroom-body wash&shampoo was available. A great stay in Aalborg direct in city center.
Everything was great! I checked in very late and because it's an unmanned hotel, it wasn't a problem with receptionists. The room was very cozy and clean, there was a table and a wardrobe. It wasn't too hot to sleep in there even though it was winter and most hotels would set the thermostats to 30°. No complaints on my side.
The room was cosy and clean. The breakfast was really good and the staff friendly and very helpful.
The hotel is really centrally located - near the city center and the bus stops and train station and yet it is quiet at the same time.
Excellent beds. Great breakfast (don't be fooled by your first impression). Great value for money. Quiet and friendly hotel. The name of the place is perfect. I didn't sleep so well in years. The location is not bad either.
Great location in centre of Aalborg, except that you can't get a car to the hotel and have to carry bags from nearby multi story car park (half price with hotel card)
Great breakfast, free coffee and tea 24/7.
Fantastic hotel - clean, modern with comfortable beds and breakfast was superb! Lovely welcoming staff on arrival. Location was superb with parking and close to everything in Aalborg. We loved it!
Beautiful apartment, stylish and with everything you need to relax and enjoy Aalborg. Gorgeous bathroom with luxury toiletries. We visited in January and were so warm and cozy.
Hotel was big and clean. The rooms were on the smaller side, but fine for us. Staff was friendly (and almost all spoke English) which made it easier. Parking was a bonus!
The Cabin hotel location is very good, very friendly and helpful staff. Clean rooms, advice - be careful and ensure you know what type/size of room you are booking,
NICE AND CLEAN HOTEL. VERY COMFORTABLE CONNECTED ROOMS FOR PARENTS AND CHILDREN. PRICE-QUALITY RELATION WAS VERY GOOD FOR DENMARK, I SUGGEST THIS HOTEL.
