The apartment was beautiful and Yvonne welcomed us graciously with fresh baked cookies and bread as well as delicious breakfast supplies for the next morning. With the fresh bread we made breakfast toast and sandwiches for a picnic lunch—fabulous! We appreciated having a washer and dryer in the apartment—it is so helpful to be able conveniently do laundry traveling for an extended time. We’ve been traveling through New Zealand and Australia for nearly 10 weeks and Yvonne’s lodging and warm welcome can’t be topped!

This was a lovely cottage, extremely well set up for a comfortable stay. We were there two nights, would have stayed longer but it was not available so we had to move on. It was very tastefully decorated. I loved it!

It was so comfortable and conveniently close to the beach, grocery shops, restaurants, and more. The host Kellie is very kind and very helpful if you ever have questions while you’re staying, she’s also knowledgeable about the area and gave us suggestions on things to see and do during our visit to Tassie. Highly recommend and looking forward to staying again one day!

Nothing seemed too much effort - amidst the uncertainty of the extreme weather conditions during our stay. It is the perfect location for boarding or disembarking to and from the Spirit of Tasmania ferry, including a security light outside the door for easier night-time access. The bathroom had heating and the kitchen had everything for self-catering as well. We’d highly recommend Tiny Tom!
