At the reception the staff speaks good English, which is very rare for this region. Amazing breakfast that is suitable for foreigners. The design of the hotel is amazing, everything is very beautiful and pleasing to the eye. A swimming pool with a transparent bottom is top. There is a sky bar on the roof of the hotel with modern music. I am satisfied with my stay and will recommend this hotel to friends.

Children's playground and business centre are also provided. Front Desk - check in and out was first class. The lady cleaning the rooms on my floor was outstanding.

I had booked and paid for a room for a week in Jan. 2020. Then Covid-19 broke out, and my flight was canceled. I informed the hotel of my problem and unexpectedly got my refund shortly after. 2. I booked and received confirmation for a room for a week in March 2024. A day later I was informed that my credit card was invalid. This happened twice. The same card was used successfully to purchase two airline ticket a few minute earlier. So I called Visa Center that assured my card validity. This international call costed me over $40! When I mentioned this unpleasant experience, the front desk manager upgraded me to Club level room. 3. One day an elevator/lift I was riding on, with a few ladies, stoped suddenly and started dropping. The emergency button did not work. A bit scary. Fortunately after a few minutes, the ride resumed. After reporting the accident, the hotel sent me a fruit basket, and even gave me free breakfast. All managers I met show they are caring professional. The staff are also very friendly and helpful. The hotel interior is beautiful; our room is elegant.

Food and drinks offerings are of high quality, but most of all the staff are outstanding. Especially Sam, Guest Experience Manager, Ado, the Pool House Manager, James, Pool House waiter and the Chinese restaurant manager were amazing. Amazing pre-arrangement in the suite, spot-on Chinese dinner recommendations, very professional, kind and smooth service at breakfast and lunch at the Pool House. I recommend it highly!

A business centre, souvenir shop and free bicycle rentals are available. We stayed for 9 days at the Banyan Tree and would recommend it wholeheartedly to anyone. We were apprehensive about booking this hotel as we saw some reviews mentioning that it had outdated facilities, but our stay was absolutely perfect with nothing to complain about: - Amazing and courteous service from all staff who greeted guests all the time. Special mention to Spencer and Lexie who were made our stay so enjoyable, and the friendly chefs who served the most delicious food. - The impressive lack of mosquitos. The grounds were very well-tended to and we did not get a single bite during 9 days. - The general solitude and lack of people. The fact that the hotel only has villas meant that the dining area was never crowded and you could eat in peace. - Villas were very private and great for a restful retreat. They are decorated classically and facilities were very clean and well-maintained. - Rooms were cleaned daily with fresh towels, turn-down service was very thoughtful and even provided small desserts. - The welcoming blast of powerful air-conditioning that cooled you down immediately when it was super hot outside. - Breakfast was delicious and had a good variety of Thai food, Western food and Local delicacies that changed daily. There was also a fresh juice bar! Also, breakfast was served till 11am so you could sleep in late. - Private pool was clean and amazing to spend the day in. - Heated outdoor jacuzzi was perfect for the night. - Proximity to Dadonghai beach, just a short scooter ride away where there are many food and lifestyle activities. - Beautiful sunsets at the beach bar. - Golf carts to take you everywhere within the compound if you were feeling lazy. - Toiletries smelled amazing. We 10/10 hope to come back again and it was the best decision to choose to stay here.
