the property had a great location ~ 400 m away from the train station. it's located towards the end of the village which provides some privacy. still it's close by to cafe's, restaurant and the train station for accessibility. the property itself is surrounded by a fabulous garden. one can spend easily the day there to relax, read a book or just enjoy nature and the hills and the sea views. it's overlooking an amazing landscape with plenty opportunities for hiking. amazing trails.

Monterosso is definitely my favourite of the Cinque Terre villages and this property is minutes away from the train station and just around the corner from the beach...in fact you can see the beach from the balcony. The host was amenable and friendly and there was even milk and water left in the fridge, and excellent tea/coffee making facilities...a nice touch. The room was very clean and beautifully decorated.

We loved staying in this village out of the 5 in Cinque Terre as it was mainly flat and getting to the hotel from the train station was super easy. The breakfast was great.
