The unit was absolutely fantastic. It had everything we needed (and more), was spotlessly clean and located in the best spot in the village (shop is 20 metres away, beach 2 minutes and restaurants less than a minute). Roberta was the best host we have ever come across in our travels. Very accommodating, super friendly, and quick to respond. We highly recommend and will definitely be back.

the backyard was amazing. we spent the time we did at the place, in the backyard. the house was so clean and much appreciated. the owner was there and so kind and sweet. truly appreciated her hospitality. the location is the reason to rent this place. it is truly the BEST! took us 1-2 minutes (with slow kids) walking to the beach.

the property had a great location ~ 400 m away from the train station. it's located towards the end of the village which provides some privacy. still it's close by to cafe's, restaurant and the train station for accessibility. the property itself is surrounded by a fabulous garden. one can spend easily the day there to relax, read a book or just enjoy nature and the hills and the sea views. it's overlooking an amazing landscape with plenty opportunities for hiking. amazing trails.

The breakfast wait staff, a young man, was exceptional. The breakfast cooks were so responsive and fast with preparing all orders. The outdoor breakfast area amongst lemon trees was beautiful. The hotel is in old town Monterosso which is the least hilly of the 5 villages so rolling our luggage from the train station to hotel was not a major undertaking. The location was perfect, beachfront, near to the train station,to the restaurants and to the village center. Secondly and most importantly is that Ms. Hilary was really helpful, really welcoming and caring. She did everything to make our stay better. Thirdly, the room was daily cleaned. We will definitely come back!!
