The lighting in the room was very bright, and there was no option to dim them... But the lights beside the beds where better, so I used those.

The view from the room was amazing, never ever did I have a room with such a view. The staff was very kind and helpfull, both with checking-in, dinner and breakfast.

The only complaint was that we booked a double room and in our case it was two single beds pushed together rather than a standard double bed so it was not very comfortable because there was a gap right down the middle of the bed and if we moved too much the beds divided but asides from this, everything else was perfect.

The location is great, and parking spots right across from the hotel entrance, which was very convenient. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We stayed over Easter break and received beautiful Easter bunny bags, which we thought were a lovely touch. Breakfast was nice, and the restaurant is excellent (recommend the pizza 100% - they have proper kitchen oven and an Italian chef who makes them). The room was very large and had a nice balcony.

The hotel does not have air conditioning. In de summer period rooms get very hot, and remain unpleasantly warm during the night.

It was too warm and difficult to circulate air in the room, not the fault of the property but no AC.

The people were great. Breakfast was delicious every morning. It was clean and very pleasant.

Everything! A cosy , great views family hotel and restaurant. Comfortable beds ( I read some bad reviews before and couldn’t understand why they were posted), great breakfast, the owners helpful and super friendly, recommended great places and were much more than just “ doing their job”. The views from restaurant and room were stunning. We didn’t eat in the restaurant but learning from the breakfast, I’m sure it’s great. Can’t wait to come back again !!

Our Suite was on the 3rd floor and the room during June was very hot. There was a standing fan but no respite from the heat. Even with temperature outside way lower, the room was too hot and temperature inside was not comfortable.

Location of the Hotel is great, with connectivity of regular boats and bus transport. The hotel is close to Mount Rigi cable car and canton centre. Easy access to lake.

The staff was just incredible - so very FRIENDLY and HELPFUL. Also, having travel through Europe for 3 weeks prior, it was so refreshing to have WASHCLOTHES in addition to the hand and bath towels in the bathroom - THANK YOU! The outdoor restaurant was lovely and had great service.

A single mattress on a double bed is more comfortable than twin mattresses, but this was indicated in the reservation (twin room).

We had a wonderful stay at the Seehotel Gotthard! The room was fantastic, well lit with a great view of the lake just in front, and with a balcony. The staff made the whole experience even better, always friendly and smiling, and very prompt to help us with our requests (parking spot, quite last minute restaurant reservation). The restaurant just by the lake is superb, and we ended up eating there every evening. We also had access to the nearby pool, and of course the lake! We'll return the first chance we get :)

The town was quiet & most restaurants & shops closed early. No A/C, but the weather was nice enough to keep windows open so not an issue.

The breakfast was continental with cereals, fresh fruits, breads, pastries, homemade jam & yogurt. Staff was amazing! Patricia helped us out when we needed an extra towel & ideas on what to do. Fabio was an awesome waiter. The whole staff was very accommodating. The restaurant was probably our best meal in Switzerland to date. All 4 of us had amazing dishes: cubed sirloin with French frys, grilled chicken with creamy basil sauce-out of this world & perch fish with frys, even my daughters kids pasta was yummy.
