“The town of Stanley alone is already beautiful, but staying in Cable Station will make the experience even more special. The hosts are some of the nicest hosts you can find in this part of the world. They value the details so much like the breakfast which they carefully prepare for their guests. Our room, the postmaster suite, was very spacious and has a king size bed, a classy couch, a small dining table, fridge, and all the basic dining utensils one will need. The sliding door offers views of the vast open land and from the balcony you can enjoy the fresh air blowing from the sea. The TV has a nice selection of cable channels while the toilet was spotless clean and has a nice tub too. The ceiling in the room is high which makes the room even more spacious and cozy. The best part about our stay in this hotel was our drive back to the property after having dinner at the center of Stanley. Not far from the hotel, we saw lots of penguins roaming freely in the dark. We did not expect to see penguins in this part of Stanley so we were surprised when they showed up! :)”

“The Bayview Guest Lodge has been very well restored. The room was very large, tastefully decorated to a very high standard and very comfortable, with modern fittings in the room. The bathroom was also very large and one of the best we experienced travelling around Tasmania. A simple continental breakfast was provided in the kitchen in the room, allowing you to have it when it suited you. The location is very good, with a short walk to cafes and restaurants. Our room at the front had a wonderful view to the water.”
