“This review will do justice to this hotel rated poorly by some who stayed. While the lobby and ground level leading to the hotel may not impress and makes one feel like he is in middle east location, one is surprised after checking in. The room is clean and sizeable, the bathroom is clean, the bed is comfortable, the breakfast spread is good (esp. the croissants), the female staff who mans the breakfast cafe and reception at the same time is competent, professional, responsive, friendly and polite (she is the one who travelled to Thailand for a few weeks recently). She assisted pur delegation with taxi arrangements every morning while we stayed there, even though she was a one-woman show at the hotel. Everything in the hotel works, staff and facilities. Even the cleaners are friendly even though they couldn't speak English. Dont let the exterior look of the hotel fools you. I will choose this over the more expensive hotels (eg Ibis) anytime. Value for money.”
