- Communication all in German instead of english, causing misunderstandings. For example in their message it said "Parkplätze im Freien sind begrenzt und kostenfrei." so I thought there is limited amount of free parking spaces on a first come first served basis. Actually the free parking spots are limited to 60min for check in only. - To access free WiFi you need to give your phone number on a web page, so they can send you SMS... super strange and unsafe. - To get to the gym and pool you need to get a voucher at the front desk first (every time) and then walk outside which is bit inconvenient when it is raining. - If you are just drinking beer at their bar, bartender will treat you like an air... (focusing attention on clients who are ordering food, champagne etc) We were there 2 consecutive nights, same experience on both days, so we moved to the restaurant in the city.

Quite good hotel. Very clean & conveniently located. Breakfast was very good and personnel at the front desk was very nice and helpful.

It was a very nice hotel with great staff. Small things like parking access and maybe a bit of a more various during the breakfast could be great. But this is a decent hotel no doubts.

There is unfortunately no coffee in the rooms. For people who have to go to work early and don't have time for breakfast, that's a bit of a downer.

You have to pay extra 20 chf if you dont want your window to face the tracks (it’s reall next to the tracks so i was worried about the noise).

When we arrived, suddenly the spa wasn’t included in the price , I opened booking.com app and showed the receptionist, but she opened her screen and said by here it’s different, it might be but I don’t care . To make a story short u have to be sure if the spa is included or not it’s extra 20 expansive SF

I come to the Zurich area quarterly from the US to work with a company in Turbenthal. I usually stay in Zurich and take the train to Turbenthal but this trip I booked in Winterthur which is a little closer. It was 93F in the area this week and the AC worked great. Room size was perfect and they had several English TV channels (not just news). I know most hotels are doing housekeeping on demand but this hotel provided daily housekeeping which I like. Also the hotel rate was better than Zurich rates. I will definitely stay there again the next time I am in the area.

Great air-conditioned hotel, easily reached from the station. Winterthur itself is upbeat and diverse, with few of the downers of a typical city. Shopping for essentials in the town centre was a pleasure, with shop staff friendly, knowledgeable and helpful.

It's located just above the rail station, and there was a lot of noises all over the night. We was to sleepy, so it didn't disturb too much, but some time it could be annoying.

The room fit our expectation, very big room for 2 persons, all new and very clean. Location is slightly far from airport (20 min drive) and breakfast was excellent !!!

The room was a bit noisy due to the trains passing by just outside the window. I booked the hotel because Booking said that they had a fitness facility. However, as I got to the hotel, I had to pay extra, as fitness was part of another business next door. That was not stated by Booking (that there was an extra fee to use it)

In general, the hotel was nice and comfortable, the staff friendly and helpful and the breakfast very complete. The area is nice and is easy to access from the train station. The shower was particularly nice.
