Sauna is one of the musts for us from Finland and we were positively surprised to find one here and actually this sauna is way far more ecological than the ones we have back home. Cool! Kantawa is situated at a small river with very clear water where you can take a short swim, but mind your knees because of the shallow water. In the river you can also have a neck or back massage from the two shower devices that are pumping fresh water. This is a very beautiful oasis for relaxation with very nice service from the kind staff. Let yourself also be impressed by the wisard Wilson of the kitchen. Yummie! This is a place for you if you like luxury to a reasonable price. We loved the freedom of this place that you for example actually can have breakfast even if you wake up after 11 am or use the swimmingpool and the facilities including the hydro therapy devices whenever you like. This is a place you long back to to freshen up after a long walk or dusty horse ride in Tayrona park or a sweaty excursion.”

“Air con, wifi and tv was really good! Great central location it was really easy to find and easy to walk to the bus for Tayrona or to supermarket or anywhere in central Santa Marta really. The staff were great they didn't speak much English but were patient with us and when we got out Google translate it made it a lot easier and they were very helpful with any request we had. They looked after our bags while we went to Tayrona for a night and they booked us a shuttle back to Cartagena. We had only planned to stay one night but after that night we decided to stay another after we'd finished in the park. Great place at a great price!”

“You won't want to leave this place. Everything is just perfect. It's in a quiet area, not far from the center and there is a good supermarket on the way. Decoration of common areas and rooms is cool and stylish. Bed is comfortable. Wifi works great. Breakfast is cooked in front of you. And the owners, Nicolás and Andrea and their daughters, are lovely, ready to help with anything (Nicolás promptly decided to escort me when I said I had to go to the hospital).
