Plumbing and appliances and heat worked perfectly, the spa was outstanding, and Bayhearn is spectacularly located in Grainau just under Zugspitze with some of the best skiing in Germany. Highly HIGHLY recommend. We loved our family week of skiing here. Loved it.”

“The location is a short distance from Garmisch, no problem especially if you have a car. This hotel is very clean and comfortable, the rooms are spacious. There is no elevator, so if stairs are a challenge, you should ask for a ground level room. Breakfast offered a large and varied buffet, but also fresh-cooked eggs to order are available, a nice personal touch. The staff helped us with directions and restaurant information. The bathroom is modern, with ample towels and space. The outside of the building is decorated in traditional Bavarian painted floral decor, along with lovely hanging floral window boxes. There is ample parking, and a garden if you wish to spend time outdoors. Our room had a small balcony with a view of the beautiful mountains.”

“The location is perfect very near a frequent bus service and train station. Plenty of free parking outside the Gastehaus. On entering the apartment first time we found a local transport travel card giving us free travel for our stay and a bottle of fizz in the fridge,nice touch. The apartment was comfortable with a well equipped kitchen. Lovely views of the mountains from the lounge doors. The breakfast was great with cereal, rolls, cold meat, eggs and hot/cold drinks. This makes all made the stay great but the owner makes the stay excellent. He was extremely helpful with our travel plans especially a trip to Munich by train. We intend to come back in the summer to enjoy the owners hospitality and his comfortable apartment again. This is a really good value apartment. Thanks for making our stay excellent Carsten.”

We were made most welcome. Magdalena is a wonderful host. She delivered fresh rolls to us every day and fed us cake in the garden. Paradise. It's a great base for visiting the mountains, lakes and castles too. Grainau is a much better village to stay in than Garmisch. It has great restaurants and shops minutes from the chalet ideal for an evening stroll.”

“It's just like our home, we never feel like staying in a hotel or so. It is actually a cottage with two apartments. The whole was above our expections with such money. Nice balcony. The hospatility is amazing, percularly the behavior of the owner, Herr Hans. He is so freindly and great person. Even he arranged beer, soft driks, choclates for us. The best part, after check out we missed our bus, when we asked him, he helped to drop us to Garmisch Skistadion. I will definitely recommend to stay there.”
