I had a room overlooking the place and noise was not a problem. Breakfast was typical french, croissants, ham, cheese etc, coffee, tea.we enjoyed our stay and will stay again.Also on a saturday morning there is a market in the street outside.”

He also told me that in France, Odalys desk personel have to speak French, English and one other language. That was good for me because, sorry, I haven't learned my French yet (ya, gimme a break, I'm only 64). He answered any questions we had and had many recommendations for us along with some tourist maps. The hotel is a 10 minute walk from Old Town Rennes, and is less than 2 years old, like brand new. Very large WC, good water pressure in the shower with plenty of hot water. Comfy oversize double bed in a nice room. Breakfast at 12.50 Eur is tip top. Economical in price, I would recommend this hotel to anyone. Parking on the street at about 1 E per hour or in hotel garage for about 10 E a day.”

The bedroom is more than homelike, because besides the fact that you find everything you want (very comfortable bed, commode and wardrobe, desk, flatscreen, water with and without gas) the colors fit perfectly to each other - no wonder as Marie Jolly studied architecture and is nowadays an artist. You can find her beautiful paintings in the room and the house. The diverse breakfast is very delicious. You have fresh prepared orange juice, warm baguette from the bakery nearby with honey or marmelade, cereals and last but not least fruit salad and cake which is both homemade. You can decide between coffee and tea - I had both and a hot chocolate would have been made right away if I would have asked for it, everything is possible. The family Jolly and especially Marie puts her heart and soul in your stay to make you feel home. I will return very soon. Thank you so much.”
