Located just a 6-minute walk to the Abbey Gardens, in Bury St Edmunds, The Northgate welcomes guests with a restaurant and bar. All rooms are fitted with a flat-screen TV.
“The staff were all so friendly - it was only the second day the hotel had been open after a refurb and everyone bent over backwards to be as accommodating as possible. It was the little things, like a glass of water while you were waiting to order from the bar. The telephone call to tell me I had left some make up in the room so I was able to go back and pick it up before we left - how many places would bother with that level of service? Evening meal was absolutely superb - we loved it all and will definitely recommend this hotel to friends.”

Located in Bury Saint Edmunds in the Suffolk Region, 800 metres from The Apex, Old School Apartments 1 & 2 is 1 km from Bury St Edmunds.
“Everything about the apartment is perfect. it really felt like home, the kitchen was ready for anything we could have wanted to prepare in it. the lounge is comfortable and the whole apartment well heated with easy controls. The bedroom is generous and the king sized bed very condusive to a good night's sleep. We stayed for 4 nights but wished we'd had the time available to stay longer. The Abbey Gardens are right alongside the apartment and mean we could see deer from the window. The Fox and the One Bull pubs are both fantastic for food and beer. And there is more history and architecture in the vicinity then you can shake a stick at. Once back in the apartment there is a reasonable amount of tech available to keep us amused. WiFi, Bluetooth MP3 and TV with DVD and Amazon stick. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to friends.”
