“The staff here are just fantastic..we had our flight delayed two days due to Storm Desmond and we booked into the Pelham hotel at late notice. We were greeted by Georgina who must be the manager and she gave us such a warm welcome we felt like we were returning home! The house itself is stunning and was decorated beautifully for Christmas. It's very centrally located and the breakfast was delicious!! We will definitely be returning to Pelham house and lewes again!”

A refurbished Sussex farmhouse, a 5-minute walk from Southease Railway Station, YHA South Downs is set in extensive grounds and has an on-site restaurant and colourful, modern bedrooms.
“It is great accommodation for a great price. I slept on one of the shared rooms and it was large with ample spaces, and the house they're in has a big kitchen with diner, a big living room with tv and games, a quiet room(!), and a backyard. It is located near a very little town called Southease, but there's nothing around the hostel, so if you're looking for peace and quiet, and a great gateway to the South Downs, you got it. Also, not included, but great breakfast.”
