She made the most amazing breakfast served at the rooftop terrace, was always there for a smile and a joke and everything was so easy and uncomplicated. Her warm heart made us feel home right away. Also we forgot our new speakers at our beautiful room when we left to Naxos and Katharina was so sweet to do her magic and send it over to Ios for us by boat. Many of my fellow guests were here at Sofi for the third, fourth or fifth time, which speaks for itself. My stay at Pension Sofi was over Easter, and Rena invited all her guests to her own home for the traditional Easter Sunday celebration - loads of food and wine, the highlight being the delicious spit-roast lamb from the family's farm - zero food miles! And to help it all down, Greek dancing and more wine. A memorable Easter indeed!”

The building is renovated, white colour and we did not have problems with parking. It is located close to the port. Extremely hospitable staff, very clean apartment and rooms, super comfy beds/pillows and a great ice cold air con system! Owners are very helpful and willing to provide us with anything we wanted with full attention on us during all our stay. From the second we stepped out of the car we were greeted by all of the staff. Local delights and a shot of local drink (treats) awaited us from Despoina's mother who was great - such a nice touch after long tiring journey! The internet was also very fast and there was internet connection everywhere in the building. They gave us excellent recommendations about beaches, taverns, coffe-shops, bars and even exceptional dishes and highlights. The breakfast was free on the first day so that we could try it and then decide if we wanted to keep having it. It was very fresh, tasty and full of local great delights. We had it all days we stayed there. We highly recommend it. Special thanks to Despoina who pretty much looked after us for the whole week and nothing was ever too much trouble for her. It was always service with a smile and she was great with us!”

“From the moment we were picked up from the port, we felt welcomed. It's a town where everyone knows each other and it's so homely. Everyone was so lovely, and they gave us tips and ticks to get around town which made our stay even better. We had a beautiful view from our balcony: the gate of the temple of Apollo and the ocean. The rooms may be a little on the smaller side compared to other hotels, but people who complain obviously don't understand that they're in Naxos! It's not a popular island, so many things will not be top of the line. The rooms have everything you need and is super comfy, although you won't be spending much time in there because you'll want to explore this beautiful island as much as you can. The hotel is super close to everything! It's roughly a 10 minute walk to the old town and another short walk to the new town if you haven't hired quad bikes. The beaches (particularly Agios Prokopios) are to die for and you could easily spend all day there without overspending on food, drinks and day beds, and they're only a 15-20minute drive away from the hotel. Due to the hotel being run by a family, you feel right at home. We will be staying here again next year when we return and look forward to doing it all again!”

It really is the best centrally located, variety etc. Its a studio apartment with its own entrance and the owners are particularly nice . It is a bit far away from the capital town of Naxos, but if one has a vehicle, that's not an issue, since you can be at the capital town (Hora) in about 5 minutes by vehicle. We also appreciated the fact that, on our return from the town at our appartment we could find fresh melons and watermelons from Galanos studio's beautiful garden, waiting for us in the kitchen area, left there by kyria Evaggelia. That was such a kind gesture. All was wonderful there”
