“Situated on a first century Roman bridge, this is a charming immaculate small family run hotel. The owners are most helpful and knowledgeable and speak English well. We had a lovely corner room with a view of snow capped mountains from the window and the balcony. The room was one of the most spacious of our trip and the bathroom was equally large. Breakfast was served in the restaurant and in summer on the patio and offered the typical Italian breakfast selections. We walked over the bridge and through the Roman arch to enter the town so the location was most convenient. We were able to park on the street for free. Wifi was excellent. We very highly recommend.”

We felt very comfortable and relaxed during the stay. Patricia talked to us very nicely and helped us a lot in exploring the nearby areas by giving useful information. She even offered to deliver our baggage in her car from the hotel to the bus station in the evening after we checked out during mid-day and went out tour the town (it was extremely nice of her to do this). It was an absolutely lovely experience to stay at Petit Foyer!”

“The location is superb. We have been to Aosta 3 times previously and this was by far the most convenient location we have found. It is on the pedestrianised shopping street that runs through the city. Shops, bars and restaurants are on your door step. Our kids could come and go without crossing any roads and in complete safety. The accommodation itself was perfect for us as there is a total of 5 beds, a good sized bathroom and an ample kitchen. We didn't cook over the short 4 day stay but did enjoy breakfast each morning with fresh bread from the bakery opposite. The apartment was clean and warm with plenty of hot water. WiFi was not working when we arrived by our excellent hosts soon sorted it. They live close by and offered eating and recreational recommendations. We like to ski and Aosta is the perfect base if you like to try different resorts or in this case hunt for the best late season snow. Cervinia (or Valtourneche) is 45 mins away. La Thuile is the same and Pila is only a lift away. In addition Courmayor, Champoluc and Gressoney are all easily drivable. 4 nights for 5 people cost us 560 euros. 5 flights to Turin with Ryan Air were £300. Car hire was £200. Excellent value for money for an Easter Ski break. We will be back.”

The apartment was obviously very new, and had all the equipment that we needed to make our stay comfortable, and very enjoyable. This was all on the lower level. On the upper level, we had the lounge area, which was comfortable with 2 settees, and a dining table and chairs, flat screen TV, and free Wi-Fi. The kitchen was clearly newly installed, with all the facilities to adequately self-cater..Large fridge, with freezer section/dish washer/main oven and 4 ring hob. The view was down to the centre of Aosta, and you could look up to the ski area of Pila on the other side of the valley. You can walk down to the shopping area within 5 mins and down to the main centre maybe another 7-8 mins, which takes you through by a lot of the smaller shops set in the older and historical centre.”
