Lovely breakfast room where a continental breakfast is provided with plenty of choices including homemade cakes and pastries. Our stay was very memorable and was enhanced very much by the lovely hosts welcoming us into their home. I'm sure we will be back!”

“The apartment was spotless with a fairly large balcony capturing late afternoon sun. The bathroom appointments were tip top and shower worked well. The whole place was extremely well run by the friendly owners. The crowning glory was the superb breakfasts (best of this type that we have ever encountered ). The location is good - just off centre of town, 5 mins to three lifts and / or buses. Ortisei itself is pleasant and very well placed for wonderful hiking. Just to demonstrate some balance in my review I do feel that the Val Gardena could reconsider the bus scheduling through the valley. We hiked every day using gondolas and buses to travel to / from starting points. On no occasion was the bus not completely full with all standing room taken up. Clearly they need to explore an increase in capacity (more buses ??). It did become something to avoid and we started designing hikes where buses were not a factor. Notwithstanding the above the VAL GARDENA offers brilliant hiking territory.”

“We stayed in 2BHK on first floor and what an Immaculate apartment, very big and spacious. There is long balcony which extends to both bedroom and what astounding view of the whole Ortisei town. Since this is located on opposite side of town, you get lovely view of town when the sun is up and shines on the beautiful rustic homes. Also there is no uphill walk on this side of town unlike the other side. Apartment is exactly as shown in picture and two bathrooms comes very handy. Kitchen is well equipped. The Alp di suisi cable car is right next to apartment. The old town and the bus stop is less than 5 mins by foot. I will definitely choose Oritsei as a base in val gardena as other two towns are comparatively quite small (though up close to mountains). The Christmas markets are good fun during Decembers and worth visit. Host Tiziana was very welcoming and very very helpful. She helped us a lot when we had problems in hiring a car which we didn book in advance. She is very responsive and accurate in communication.”

“Excellent accomodation. Spend here week with my family on winter vacation. All brand new. Clean. Large safe lockable ski room with heated hangers for the boots. Very good and new kitchen. Electric window sun shades makes the room so dark, so I had to set the alarm clock, if we used the shades, otherwise we woke up after 10 morning :) 2 balconies with nice view. Direct on the ski slope. Just walk out of the apartment, put on the skies an ride. Ski out accomodation. For return from the slopes, we used free ski bus. Bus stop 100 meters away. With accomodation, there is daily free entrance to the aquapark (5 minutes walk) and 2 free entrance per adult per week to the luxury sauna world. Short walk to the city centre. Nice owners. Recommended.”

She also offered us two Val Gardena 7-day public transport passes that give access to free public transport in the region for a whole week.The apartment is simply amazing and really feels like home.
