This was my first trip to Germany where I travelled 7 cities in 10 days. Out of all my stays, my stay at this hotel was the best. Its a small family run hotel, but they were really great hosts. The rooms were clean and well maintained, the food was delicious and the beer from their in-house microbrewery was really amazing! I has to leave in a hurry next morning or I would really loved to see their brewery.. Unfortunately, I had arrived the Schwindegg station on a Sunday evening where there was no local transport available to reach the hotel. Being my first visit to Germany and very limited grasp of the German language, I was stranded at the station. The owner of the Hotel was kind enough to pick me up from the station at short notice. I am really grateful to him for this gesture

Self check in, no staff around on arrival, restuarant was not opened. Parking on site, modern clean comfortable rooms, a little small but perfect for an overnight stay

This hotel is a family pension situated in the Bavarian countryside. The site, easy to find, is quiet and peaceful. The surrounding area is lovely. The buildings and the pieces of equipment are at their best level. The recently renovated rooms inspire quality and respectability (material chosen, competence of the craftmen, furniture). Even in the details, the quality is present. The breakfast is also concerned with fine products proposed in a cozy restaurant. Bonus: the site is also a small brewery that produces a nice blonde beer!

We had a lovely stay. We were travelling through, and it was very well-located: near the motorway, but far enough not to hear it. It was great to be able to have dinner there after a tiring day. The restaurant was full of local people, it also had a community centre-feel, with people playing cards and having chats. The lady who served us - and the whole room - was efficient, helpful and kind. The room was spotlessly clean and quiet.

Location was excellent at a point halfway in our travel from Geneva to Budapest. Everything had that new feeling to it without the teething problems.
