Neighbourhood information

Polzeath is a small village located on the headland opposite Padstow and just a few miles from Wadebridge. There are many local shops providing everything a holiday maker needs, from surfing equipment to clothes. You can also find a number of stunning walks surrounding the village. The local culinary scene is not to be missed; Polzeath boasts an excellent selection of atmospheric restaurants such as Oystercatcher and The Waterfront; both serving up local ingredients and fresh seafood. Polzeath beach is a haven for surfers and you can learn too at the Surf’s Up School. During the summer season the beach is watched over by lifeguards during the day. This large and sandy beach is also home to a nature reserve and some great rock pools to explore. Enjoy a day out coasteering with Era Adventures; while away in the stunning lagoons, play in natural whirlpools and rapids, climb over rockfaces and get the adrenaline pumping with a 30ft cliff jump.
