This is a homestay, not a hotel. The property was completely refurbished to a high standard in Jan 2020. There are 4 guest bedrooms all with private ensuite facilities, and a kettle in the room with tea and coffee. It is a self check-in process: the property is accessed via a keypad entry as is each bedroom. Codes are sent before arrival. There are no staff on site, but they are local to the property and contactable up to 23.00 Check-in is between 15.00 and 22.00. If you are wishing to check-in outside of these hours please contact the host prior to booking to see if he can accommodate you. Please note this property is NOT suitable for people attending festivals/parties/heavy drinkers. It is a quiet house used by travellers and workers.
The owner Darren deals promptly with any correspondence and questions.
The homestay is conveniently placed for Manchester Airport, Manchester Airport train station and local shops. The property is next door to a (24 hour) taxi rank. Taxi is a 5 min journey. Walking to the airport is 0.7 miles. Alternatively you can walk to the airport free shuttle service at Jetpark 1 which will drop you at all three terminals. The distance from Airport Padzzz to Jetpark 1 is 0.5 miles. There are a number of take-aways and a convenience store 2 mins walk away. The civic centre is approximately 10 min walk away and comprises many shops, supermarket, cafes, banks etc. There is also a swimming bath, gym and library.
