Property information

Our property is an amazing Grade II listed building in the heart of Liverpool City Centre, once home to Lytton Strachey, the biographer, historian, and member of the Bloomsbury Group. The building comprises of 11 separate apartments, each recently renovated in its own unique design. Due to our fantastic city centre location, a car is not needed at our property as you have an abundance of award winning shops, bars and restaurants right on your doorstep! Sitting at the Anglican Cathedral end of Rodney Street, why not admire this spectacular monument of modernist and gothic architecture, the largest cathedral in Britain, right on your doorstep. We are a 1-minute walk from the largest Cathedral in Britain, the stunning Anglican Cathedral. Local Attractions such as the Albert Dock and the Liverpool One shopping Complex are a 10-minute stroll away. Liverpool and Everton Football stadiums are a 10-minute taxi ride. We have excellent public transport links for bus, train, and ferry routes. Liverpool Lime street train station and the Pier Head ferry port are 10-15 minutes’ walk away.

Neighbourhood information

The cobbled streets, Georgian townhouses, traditional pubs, beautiful restaurants and cultural venues make this one of the most beautiful parts of the city and well worth a visit on your next trip. Stand at one end of Hope Street and you’ll be able to see the Liverpool Cathedral, stand at the other end and you’ll see the Metropolitan Cathedral. Wherever you are along the famous street, you’ll see one of our beautiful Cathedrals and architectural masterpieces. On your next visit make sure you head inside both of them to explore their history and stunning interiors. You can even take a trip to the top of Liverpool Cathedral to take in the incredible views over the city. Aside from the Cathedrals, Hope Street is home to some of the finest bars and restaurants in the city, including the famous Philharmonic Pub. Speaking of the Philharmonic Pub, make sure you stop off on your visit to the area. The ornate bar is split into a host of tiny musical themed rooms with beautiful intricate details - the toilets are famously pretty impressive too!. In keeping with the music theme, just over the road you will find the Liverpool Philharmonic Hall. The hall is home to the award-winning Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra who perform over 60 concerts a year amongst other huge touring artists, comedians and shows. Theatre fans will also be impressed with the award-winning Everyman Theatre. Some of theatre's biggest names have graced the boards here for a whole host of touring and local productions from the world of theatre. If you’re not afraid of ghosts then Shiverpool’s Hope Street Shivers Ghost Walk is a tour to add to your list when visiting the Georgian Quarter. You’ll visit the two Cathedrals, walk the most haunted street in the North West, visit the Georgian ale houses and hear all the spooky stories from the past.
