Property information

Built in 2021, Flotnar Hús is a new eco home on the North Coast 500 in between Wick & John O' Groats. Simple to find with stunning views and easy walking distance to the beach, castles and local bar / restaurant. The house has a peaceful atmosphere, our showers are refreshing and our beds are comfortable. All rooms are finished to a high standard. Our first floor sea view room (room 3) includes exclusive use of our hot tub. All rooms have access to our south facing patio and garden with views to Sinclair’s Bay. There are a selection of pukka teas and a bean to cup coffee machine that guests are welcome to throughout their stay. The Village Inn (local bar / restaurant) is 5 minutes from Flotnar Hus.

Neighbourhood information

Keiss beach, harbour, broch, castles, village bar and restaurant are all within walking distance. Guests can also enjoy various activities in the surrounding area including golf, horse riding and water sports. Wick is 7.9 miles from the property where you can find all of your essential shopping needs and John O’Groats is 8.7 miles. There are regular car ferries to Orkney from Gills Bay 10.9 miles away.
