The semi-detached townhouse is located just off Main street, accessible through an Alleyway. The house offers a living/dining room with gas fire and seating for 4. Outside you will have solely use of the Patio with table and chairs. The kitchen supplies all you need for cooking yourself including a washing machine and fridge-freezer. Upstairs you will find 2 double bedrooms (featuring one double and one small double bed) and the bathroom with bath tub, shower and plenty of storage spaces. We are happy to supply a travel cot and high chair on request. Nearby PARKING (involves a 2min. Foot walk along Main Street) can be booked for four Pounds per day at Wilkinson carpark (on most carpark booking websites) in advance. We accept well-behaved small to medium dogs (but please mind the safety of the neighbours cat!). Robinson’s cottage is the front half of the building, the back half is occupied by your neighbours who will be using the path as well to get to their house.
we don’t live in the house, but are available if needed
The house is located in a courtyard just off Main street. There is another house and a couple of flats accessable through the same courtyard alleyway. You will find a good selection of take-aways, restaurants and tearooms nearby. A ONS STOP supermarket is just opposite your Alleyway door and Sainsbury’s on the top of Station Street. bus stops are within 2 min. walking distance on Main street. Cockermouth is right at the edge of the Western border to the National Park and the ideal base to explore West Cumbria. The Solway coast (Maryport and Allonby) is a 10 min car drive away.
