Welcome to Sea Proche: A beautiful seaside getaway, full of period charm and modern luxuries. Perfect for a family break or a romantic escape. Sea Proche has room for everyone to unwind in their own space, or to spend time together in one of the three living spaces or two sun-trap terrace/ patio areas. This lovingly restored Victorian villa with period details and Scandi-inspired décor is just a two minute walk from miles of sun-kissed, sandy beaches and coastal trails around the Bay or up onto the Downs...
We're Stella and Chris, and are long term visitors to the Island. We've recently taken the plunge and bought our own place in sunny Sandown, and are now letting out our lovely seaside escape so you too can enjoy this amazing space - perfect as a base to explore the whole Island or to settle in and just enjoy all the fabulous things right on the doorstep. We're always available on the phone during your stay, to answer any questions or help you navigate the island. We can't wait to welcome you!
Situated in a quiet corner of Sandown, on the Isle of Wight, Sea Proche is just a minutes walk from beautiful golden beaches, a seafront promenade and Sandowns Victorian pier. The house is just moments from essential High Street shops, a playground, skate park, mini golf course and all the other various entertainments that the resort of Sandown has to offer. There are also gorgeous walks and picturesque bike trails starting from right outside the front door. We think it's the perfect location for an English seaside getaway. Sea Proche is perfectly situated for getting around. Parking at the property is first come first served; on-street, outside the house, but there is a pay and display carpark that offers a long term option (which is then valid in pretty much all other carparks on the island). Buses run to just about anywhere on the Island from either end of Albert Road, about 150m in either direction from the house. Sea Proche sits at the foot of Station Avenue, and at the other end, about 1000m away, is the train station, which can take you to Shanklin or Ryde.
