Our apartment is not a simple house: it’s a home. It is on the mezzanine floor of an ancient stone building, built back in 1906, where once there was a primary school. Here comes the name of the apartment Old School. It is situated in the old town of Kastel Luksic, between the two UNESCO heritage cities: Split and Trogir. Among hills, sea and islands, this apartment is perfect for a family or for a group of friends. Within 90 kilometers you can find the cities of Šibenik, Omiš, Sinj, Makarska, the Dalmatian central islands, Krka National Park and so much more. The apartment is genuine: it keeps stone walls and brick arches from the original building. It’s a mixture of modern and ancient: it’s been completely renovated and furnished. With its 7 big windows it offers an excellent illumination and the space is airy and welcoming. Two double bedrooms, a living room with a sofa bed, a wide dining room, a little but fully equipped kitchen and a large bathroom will give you the most possible comfort during your stay. The central part of the apartment is air-conditioned; while the bedrooms have fans on the ceiling. Besides, you can also enjoy a small garden in front of the apartment.
My name is Ines. I’m a psychologist. I work with young students of high school. My husband Petar and I have been investing in renovating a place that now you can fully enjoy. I speak English and Italian. We’re both nature lovers and we have a passion for travels, books and antiques. After work we spend most of our free time with our two kids and our friends. We are glad to welcome you in our home and we will play host to you as you deserve.If you want to live in a typical Dalmatian city, if you want to enjoy every special moment that a Mediterranean city offers and if you want to share our lifestyle, this is the apartment you’re looking for.
Within 100 meters you’ll find everything you need: shops, fast foods, cafés, a pharmacy, a church, a postal office, Vitturi castle and other historical and cultural monuments; you’ll find also the local market, ATM’s and a playground for kids. With only 10minutes by car you’ll find many supermarkets, such as Lidl, Plodine, Tommy and Konzum. Within 200 meters from the apartment there’s a bus station with a direct link to Split and Trogir (where the airport is), which, by the way, you can also reach by car in 15-20 minutes. The sea is at 50 meters from the apartment and the nearest beach is only within 150 meters. In a few minutes you can also walk to other close beaches, walking along both sides of the cost. The apartment is located in a place full of cultural and entertaining events, and also sportive and religious one, especially during spring and summer. It is on the main street of Kastela: it’s a street that runs on the whole cost of Kastela bay. During warm days it becomes a place where people can walk, run, skate and ride a bike. It’s perfect for a morning run or for a walk along the sea in every moment of the day.
